...I have owned a maxdata laptop since August 2000 and in that time I have found it pretty good actually. For the purposes of comaprison I own a maxdata 650T, a P3 700MHz with DVD Drive 128Mb Ram with an 11Gb HDD. In addition I am sharing a house with 4 other guys all who own laptops so I feel that this is a fair comparison of its abilities How easy is it to get started? Very! I got that baby ticking away within 30 minutes. The Operating system needed to be installed which was done quickly via good company instructions and a fast processor. Being a laptop there wasn't a great deal to do after that except install all device drivers and get plugging away! Speed From my experience runs like a dream. AT700 - The Choice of Pro's!

Advantages: Powerfull, excellent for singles
Disadvantages: Cost, head heavy, not so great for doubles play.

X700 Pro...Nifty Little Thing

...Buying a graphics card nowadays is a tricky thing if you don't know what you're doing. A price drop makes the offer even more tantalising. But you really need to ask yourself what you want from your card. The fairly new PCI-Express is the new type of slot for your graphics card and it will soon replace AGP slot. Now the X700 Pro isn't the best card out there but saying that it can still hold its own and you won't have any trouble running Far Cry, Doom 3 and Half Life 2 in 1024 x 768 resolution with Medium settings. Of course... you need a system of a similar quality or better to support the card properly, and a 300w PSU (Power Block) is recommended. ...Samsung, in my opinion, make some of the best, well made products and thus, all my gadgets tend to be manufactured by SAMSUNG, including ONE of my mobile phones - the Samung J-700. The J-700 comes available in either metallic black or pink so it's stylish for boys and girls a like though I do consider this more of a 'girly' looking phone with it's long slender smooth appearance. The phone is a slide up which are my favourite kinds. I always feel like I will smash the screen with flip phones and with standard ones, the key pads always get accidentally pressed and you call someone unknowingly. With a slide, the key pad is protected by the front screen. A simply push upwards eaily slides the screen up with a click to reveal the keypad and locks securely into place.
