...We bought the Maxi-Cosi carseat to use with our Quinny Zapp travel system - lucky for us as otherwise we probably wouldn't have looked at it! Initially this carseat seemed more expensive than some others, but as soon as we investigated in the shops I could certainly see why. It seems to be a higher quality than other, cheaper carseats on the market, with an interesting design that I've never seen elsewhere. There is no assembly or fiddling required - all you need to do when you get this home is have a browse through the instructions, then off you go! Fixing the carseat into your vehicle using a seatbelt is very easy - I tend to be very easily confused (embarrassing but true) but even I find this very straightforward and obvious. Maxi Cosi Make It Maxi Easy At A Maxi Price

Advantages: Makes getting an infant into and out of the car a doddle.
Disadvantages: Pricey.

Advantages: Very easy to use features. Very cosi for your little one.

...This is an excellent product. Easy to install and very safe for your little precious cargo. You will notice that I have specified this as 12-36 months in age range but I was advised that it suits children from 9 months to 4 years. This car seat is very easy to use as the straps remain connected and in place so you don't have to keep moving them around every time your child gets in or out of the vehicle. It also has a head rest that adjusts the hight of the straps without having to fiddle with them through tiny slats when your child grows a bit bigger. The straps also loosen and tighten very easily by holding down the front clasp you just pull the straps free. Advantages: Fits Bugaboo Frog Pushchair, Mid-Range Price, Easy to install.
Disadvantages: Strap for tightening harness can be tricky when fitted in car.

Maxi cosi priori sps - a good allrounder

Advantages: good allrounder.
Disadvantages: less padded than some, lack of head support.

...seat! the covers are easy to remove for cleaning although i found a damp cloth works just as well. i did find that when the little one fell asleep and his hed flopped to one side if i went round corner his head would flop to the other side (even when the seat was reclined). i believe there is a head pad available from maxi cosi but it can only be used when the harness is in the lowest position. when adjusting the harness hieght i found it was rather fiddly task. it took me about 10-15 mins to remove then rethread the harness. i would say this is a good all round seat. light enough to transfer between cars quickly and easily but still feel safe a solid when installed. i would recomend this seat to a friend however i would advice them to look around and try out other seats as well before they buy....

...I had absoloutely no knowledge about car seats and what was the 'best' on the market before having my baby. People recommended all different kinds and after consulting Which magazine I decided to go for the Maxi Cosi. I am more than happy with it's performance so far. It is a cosy-looking seat as the head hugger- suitable for younger babies and is removed once the baby gets too big for it- moulds nicely around my baby's head and makes her feel as though she is still being held. It isn't a car seat which makes the baby look all hunched up and so I am not concerned about having her travel in it for up to 3 hours. my baby seems very happy with it too. It's very practical as it's easy to get in and out of the car so easy in fact that it often doesn't wake my baby if I lift the car seat out whilst she's still asleep which is...

The maxi cosi car seat is a forward facing group/stage 1 car seat, but can hold a child up to the age of approx 4 years. You arre recommended not to put your baby in a forward facing car seat until they are over 20Lbs in weight. We waited for this but were desperate to get our little one out of her rear facing car seat and into this one, she was getting too alert and was finding the rear facing seat boring by now. Cosi little seat!

...I was recommended to buy this car seat by a friend and now I can see why they rated it so highly. Which magazine have rated Maxi Cosi as one of their safest car seats and it's been a great buy for us. The seat itself is very well padded and comes with a head hugger which has extra padding on it which is velcroed on. You easily detach this once your baby has out grown it. The head hugger is really great though for when your baby is tiny. It gives that extra comfort and support which a newborn needs. The head hugger stayed in our car seat until our baby was 5 months old. The padding around the rest of the seat is really sound comfortable but not so overly padded that it seems too soft and therefore not safe.
