Cosi little seat!

...I was recommended to buy this car seat by a friend and now I can see why they rated it so highly. Which magazine have rated Maxi Cosi as one of their safest car seats and it's been a great buy for us. The seat itself is very well padded and comes with a head hugger which has extra padding on it which is velcroed on. You easily detach this once your baby has out grown it. The head hugger is really great though for when your baby is tiny. It gives that extra comfort and support which a newborn needs. The head hugger stayed in our car seat until our baby was 5 months old. The padding around the rest of the seat is really sound comfortable but not so overly padded that it seems too soft and therefore not safe. An amazing car seat

...more space so your baby can fit in the seat for longer. They are a nice shape, I've seen some car seats which leave your baby hunched up but this one doesn't do that. Are they practical? Definitely. You can easily get the car seat in and out of the car so you don't even have to wake your baby up. They have a handle which pulls forward and a sunhood which you can pull over and attach to the handle. This is something which has come in really useful we have found. The straps are easy to adjust an tighten and there is a very handy little 'cupboard' in the seat too which makes great use of the extra space so we often keep a spare emergency nappy or two in there. They also easily clip onto sets of wheens such as the maxi cosi and the quinny. Can you clean them? They are quite awkward to clean as they are fabric so it can be difficult to...

...I bought this when I had my baby as it was apparently the best on the market and I really can't find fault with it at all it has been the most reliable of our baby products and can't rate it highly enough. This car seat is different from others as it is suitable for up to 9 months whilst the majority of others are just up to 6 months. The seat is well padded and has a 'head hugger' so it is safer for newborns. This headhugger can then be removed once your baby is big enough. The straps also can be adjusted once your baby grows so that it is still safe and comfortable. The straps are easy to use- at first they were fiddly but once you have the hang of them then you know what you're doing they're easy! once you have strapped your baby in you then pull on the straps to make them tight so that your baby is safetly in place...

Maxi-Cosi; Comfort and Style!

...We bought the Maxi-Cosi carseat to use with our Quinny Zapp travel system - lucky for us as otherwise we probably wouldn't have looked at it! Initially this carseat seemed more expensive than some others, but as soon as we investigated in the shops I could certainly see why. It seems to be a higher quality than other, cheaper carseats on the market, with an interesting design that I've never seen elsewhere. There is no assembly or fiddling required - all you need to do when you get this home is have a browse through the instructions, then off you go! Fixing the carseat into your vehicle using a seatbelt is very easy - I tend to be very easily confused (embarrassing but true) but even I find this very straightforward and obvious. Brilliant infant car seat

Advantages: Excellent for safety, comfort and totally practical
Disadvantages: no negatives for this product

...I used this for my daughter and used it from birth right through to the upper weight limit which is actually higher than most other car seats in this category. She always seemed so content in it and happily napped when travelling. The sun canopy is excellent, great for protecting the baby when driving and carrying about. Sun canopy also stores away easily when not in use, remaining attatched but out for the way. I also bought the easybase which made loading and unloading baby from car very quick and easy - especially when its raining which it so often does here. Also purchased mosquito net & Raincover both excellent purchases and in the UK I certainly needed them. I liked the fact that there were internal pads that could be removed as she grew to enable more comfort and space for her within the seat. Covers are easily removed for washing...

Advantages: Fits Bugaboo Frog Pushchair, Mid-Range Price, Easy to install.

Really safe & comfortable for baby - he falls asleep!

In the end I chose the Maxi Cosi Cabrio car seat as I felt it was the safest on the market and compatible with the icandy pushchair I had chosen. I am thrilled with my choice, it has been worth every penny. My baby was only 5lb 11oz when born and although he was tiny, I felt he was very safe in this seat. ...We bought this seat a couple of months back after trailing round several shops. We chose this one as it seemed the sturdiest, comfiest and easiest to use. We bought ours for £129.99 from Kiddicare.com. The seat is easy to fix into the car, using just the seatbelt. The seat has five reclining positions, from upright to a reclining position for when your little darling is asleep. The seat is recommended for use from the age of about 9 months old (providing your child is 9 kg in weight.) to 4 years old. ...I had absoloutely no knowledge about car seats and what was the 'best' on the market before having my baby. People recommended all different kinds and after consulting Which magazine I decided to go for the Maxi Cosi. I am more than happy with it's performance so far. It is a cosy-looking seat as the head hugger- suitable for younger babies and is removed once the baby gets too big for it- moulds nicely around my baby's head and makes her feel as though she is still being held. It isn't a car seat which makes the baby look all hunched up and so I am not concerned about having her travel in it for up to 3 hours. my baby seems very happy with it too.
