maybelline model lashes?????

Advantages: great covergae, does what it's supposed to!!!
Disadvantages: clumps easily, pulls out your eyelashes!!!

...I used this product for a few months......that is until i found i was loosing eyelashes at an alarming rate!!! So what is this product like. Well with the glamorous tv adverts showing models with super thick, gorgeous eyelashes, you would expect the bees knees eh?!!! mmm maybe-lline not!!!! THE PACKAGING well it look like any other mascara you would see. It's black and it has it's name in blue metallic writing. Yeah it looks good and is smart, but not very eye catching to say the least. THE BRUSH The "brush" with this product isn't really a brush. It is in fact a comb. I wasn't too sure about this at first, but to be fair it is very effective. THE EFFECT Well the comb is very good on the coverage side of things. It gets every single lash, even the tiniest of ones, that are normally impossibe to get with a normal brush...

...No. I was not born with it!! ha ha. Wow no wonder this mascara is ciao's top something hitlist for eye make up... it really hard to beat more so in its price range! The tube is quirky and colourful, it was probably why I bought this when I was 13 and the fact that its soo good is why im still using it 10 years on! You get about 5ml worth of mascara and you can get a waterproof version as well. The colour is a very dark black and it ass considerable length to lashes. I find going over and over my lashes in quick motions for 1 min give the most dramatic length and look. For more lift at the root try zig zagging the brush as you comb through your lashes... these tricks aren't exclusive to great lash of course and can be done with any mascara... but the great thing with great lash is the really small size of the mascara brush itself making...

One of the main reasons that I would buy this mascara is because of the price which is about $4.99, but I must say that the overall performance leaves a lot to be desired. One of the claims made by the company about this product is that : "it adds volume,length,curl and definition" all of which I hate to say I personally did not find. My lashes are a fairly nice length but very thin, so volume is what I was looking for. I have to apply this mascara at least three times to my lashes in order to get volume out of it. ...Maybelline Great Lash If i am completly honest i wouldnt say this was the best mascara i have used but if i was really short in money i would buy this mascara cause it isnt bad and it isnt great its AVERAGE!. It Might just be me but i am very fussy on what mascaras i use. and my eyelashes are very short so it didnt give me the full on look where i wanted my eyelashes to look thick instead of thin. But this is a very good price 2.99 i saw it for in the shop. i have seen my friends use this product and i must say it did look good on them it might just be that didnt think much of this product cause i didnt see much difference on my eyelashes. it comes in a pink container with a green lid i think personally it looks cheap but thats my opinion. Maybelline Define-A-Lash Mascara

...I brought this mascara a few months ago and unfortunatley i haven't used it since. I wouldn't say it's worth £8 as it made my eyelashes stick together, even though it did lengthen them. I am a fan of all maybelline make-up and thought i would give this a try when i seen it. I was first aware of this mascara when i seen it advertised on telly and it was the latest maybelline mascara so my expectations of this were quite high. I think the mascara works best with false eyelashes on as it lengthens the lashes even more giving a more dramatic effect. The actual bottle of the mascara is fairly attractive and different looking to other mascaras as the bright green really stands out. But dont be fooled by the pretty packaging! I think other mascaras by maybelline work much better and are more effective....

In silver writing on one side I'm told it is Maybelline Define-A-Lash waterproof mascara and that's it on the information stakes. The Mascara.... Well I was really excited at the thought of using this cos if the truth be known I don't think I've ever splashed out £7.99 on a mascara before and my expectations were really high! However this really is... sh... sorry rubbish! As you pull the' wand' out of the tube the brush situated at the bottom wobbles all over the place and it's very difficult to control. It's made of fibres which feel rubbery to the touch, the smell is horrid (really cheap) and the brush is coated well with black mascara (in my case).
