Maytag Stainless Steel dishwasher

Advantages: Quiet, large inside, easy to clean
Disadvantages: Intermittant fault that doesn't seem to be fixable, expensive

...I have had the Maytag for nearly two years now. I bought it to match with new appliances in my refitted kitchen. The machine holds a lot, more than our previous model. It was so quiet that when we first used it we didn't think it was working! It is easy to use, with lots of programmes. It has a low salt and low rinse aid indicator. It has an economy programme as well as all the usual programmes that you would expect for a top of the range dishwasher. About a year ago it suddenly started tripping the electric off and we needed to get an engineer. I bought the machine on line and I looked up Maytag and phoned them, they then arranged for a firm of engineers to send someone round. I am a Firdge Freezer

Advantages: It is a Fridge and a Freezer

...My oh so wonderfull landlord has just bought me one of these things cause the old fridge had blown up and it has a freezer too, thank you Mr Landlord. I have only had this baby for a week and I am in love, I was that excited about having my own freezer that I ran out a bought a ice cube tray thingy only to find out that it had one in the top drawer of the freezer compartment, which seems to be the only usefull thing you can put in the top drawer. There are three compartments in the freezer of the same size and most frozen products will fit niceley in them apart from frozen pizzas which have to be stuck in at a jaunty angle. You can also fit packets of square sausage in them as well, quite nicely. There is quite a lot of storage spage enough to last me for over amonth in the freezer alone. Arctic cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Advantages: Cheap, Powerfull and efficient
Disadvantages: A bit fiddly to install

...I upgraded to this Heat sink Fan unit from an Akasa one and the difference in temperatures was great! With the Akasa model i was peaking on full load at 62 degrees Celsius and with the new Arctic Freezer 7 Pro i am now peaking on full load at 46 degrees Celsius. (My tower also has 3 additional cooling fans as well so i had to point it out.) The Fan being mounted on the side of the Heat sink is a great idea as heat naturally rises. Also the fins at the bottom of the heat sink direct airflow towards the motherboard components which helps keep them cool. When this initially arrived in the post i was surprised at the size and weight of it. Its huge! It was a bit fiddly to install but the fan is detachable to help. For the price it is brilliant value for money....

Our first combined fridge freezer

Advantages: Good capacity for small family, no frost or condensation on interior walls.
Disadvantages: Freezer compartments quite tight for large items like pizza's etc

...This is a great fridge freezer for a small family. Our family is two adults and a child, and it copes very well with the weekly shop, although can be pretty packed. Starting at the top, from the outside, there are six buttons at the very top of the machine, three to either side of the digital display. The first on the left is the power button, which as you would imagine is used for switching the whole thing on and off. This is however an 'electronic' on/off switch therefore there will still be power going to the device if you don't switch off at the socket. One thing we noticed with these buttons is that they can quite easily be pushed 'in' and end up further back behind the facia than they should be. A gentle touch is all that is required!
