There has been a lot said about the lack of company ethics but of course they have denied all allegations. All sorts of leaflets are on display and available to the customer, listing the nutritional values for each item. I am still not totally convinced my children or I are eating a healthy meal from this establishment but they have improved. Disadvantages: not very healthy

...Although McDonalds has had an awful lot of bad press about the unhealthy aspect of its food i still enjoy eating there and have a meal from there at least once a month. One of my favorite things i like about this food chain is the fact that service is always very quick, you dont have to waite longer than a few minutes for your meal where as if you went to a cafe you would probably be waiting a lot longer. Our local restrant is open untill 11 pm every night so is convinent for when i get hungry late at night and fancy something to snack on. It is always clean, has good facilities, toilets, baby changing, high chairs and a good amount of car parking spaces. You have the choice of eating in, taking away your meal or using there drive through, i prefer to park and fetch my meals as a take away as you can see what is going into...

...I really don't understand why this so called restaurant is so popular. Their shabby excuse for food is pathetic and we all know too well how damaging it can be to ones health. So why is our nation striving on a place of such nature? Why are our young people flocking to such a place for lunch break? I'll tell you why. It's because our nation promotes unhealthy foods and the young people of today's society would rather pay less for something bad for themselves than pay up a few extra pounds for something worthwhile. Let's face it, we all want something for nothing. And with McDonalds having money off or buy one get one free coupons we'll go along just to save that extra few pounds. FRIGHTENING EXPERIENCE AT McDONALDS

...I'm not a huge fan of McDonalds but my two children seem to regard it as a treat so we go every once and awhile. History, menus, etc can all be found in other reviews so I would like instead to share with you my most recent, unpleasant and frightening experience. I arrived at the McDonalds restaurant in the Meole Brace area of Shrewsbury at around 5pm on a Friday before Xmas with my son, then aged 10 yr. and my daughter 4yrs. The restaurant is situated in quite a pleasant retail park about 2 miles from the centre of Shrewsbury. There is ample parking and the surrounding gardens have matured to make the exterior of the restaurant quite attractive.. There are tables outside should you wish to sit in the cold or have a smoke. The exterior of the building itself is of typical McDonalds design - perhaps now rather dated and in need...

My Friends, My family, McDonald's

Advantages: Good Food, Good Salary, Friendly and Clean Atmospthere.
Disadvantages: Not really helpful in career prospects.

...I live in eastern Europe. Here children get happy and excited hearing the name of McDonalds. A normal middle class family family would go to this restaurant once a month usually for the kids. There are lots of other retaurants over here but why do I go here. Its because of the friendly environment, McDonald himself ( clown in yellow) is entertaining kids. McDonalds - We know it's unhealthy but it's cheap!

Advantages: Cheap food, not bad tasting burgers.
Disadvantages: Unhealthy & full of fat & salt.

...Most people in the UK will be within 5 miles or so of a McDonalds restaurant and within 5 miles of my house we actually have 3! Two of the three have had a make-over now and have the new McDonalds look of funky chairs and big tables whilst the other one still has the old McDonalds look of old diner style seating and little padded booths to sit in. Generally the three McDonalds in question are all the same. The prices of the products are the same everywhere because they are a franchise and you can get burgers, salads, chips, fruit, drinks, milkshakes, donuts, chicken sandwiches and vegetarian options. I normally have either a quarter pounder meal or a fillet-o-fish meal as if you request a fillet they generally have to cook one fresh as they aren't so popular so they can't just mass produce and wait for an order to roll in, also...
