Gentle, soothing exfoliator

Advantages: Really gentle, leaves skin soft & moisturised

...As with nearly ever other No 7 product I own I got this because I got a £5 No 7 voucher. I hadn't seen a lot I wanted but wanted to use the voucher so I just went for on of the cheapest things in the skincare range which was this exfoliator. At full price it isn't exactly cheap though, it was £7.50, but that meant I only paid £2.50 for it which was a good bargain! It is a 75ml bottle which is average size for a face scrub. Packaging? It is in a squeezy bottle which sits upside down with the bit where the scrub comes out at the bottom, so it is always easy to get it out of the bottle. The bottle is kind of clear so you can see what is inside a bit, but it is a bit frosted which actually makes it look nice and better quality than if it were a clear bottle. It has a gold 'No7 at the top and 'Radiance Revealed' written in bold...

...Simple is renowned for its skincare products so when I saw Simple revitalising exfoliating wipes on offer at Tesco?s for 2 for £4.00 I thought I would give them a try. The normal price is £2.92 for 25 wipes which works out at 11.7p per wipe which is a little expensive. So 50 for £4.00 seemed like a good bargain! It?s a well known fact that Simple products have no added ingredients but just in case anyone didn?t know the wipes are in a green plastic packet with the words ?no colour no perfume? written all over it. The epidermis has 5 layers in itself, the top layer or the skin you can feel and see is called the stratum corneum. When the stratum corneum is at its best it is 15 layers thick, the skin looks hydrated, fresh and young, however, as we age and our skin gets more dull looking, dehydrated and sometimes waxy looking and this is because we are not efficiently exfoliating these layers away and so the stratum corneum builds up to about 75 layers thick! Seriously some of the best skincare that money can buy

Advantages: really really works and bottles last an awful long time
Disadvantages: PRICE!! best used as a regime then single products on their own

...or a scrub needs to be changed etc. each face map costs £20 from selected salons and products cost between 22-35 pounds with some moisturisers and boosters costing £40!!! Due to the almost prohibitive prices I have stopped using dermalogica and using "lush" natural skincare line of products which are fairly alright but already my skin is slightly blotchy and break out prone so I think I'll just have to save up and buy me some dermalogica asap!!! I used Dermalogica for 2 years and here's a run down of my favourite products: special cleansing gel - foams beautifully even in hard water area, lavendaer is oil balancing and its very luxurious cleanser to use which is not at all harsh or stripping. reccomend for oily/combination/acne prone but sensative skn types.
