Indesit IS70C scored Gold!
Advantages: the indesit IS70C is lightweight and extremely quiet when on. It holds a massive 7kg of clothes
Disadvantages: The indesit IS70C has really no disadvantages other than the fact it is only energy efficient C
...I decided a few months ago due to having electric heaters than i need a tumble drier to dry my laundry being in a top floor flat. I shopped around for a good three days looking for a condenser tumble dryer that was excellent value for money which provided a machine that had a large capacity and was easy to use. I stumbled across the indesit IS70C which was everything i was looking for. It was simple to use, extremely quiet and had a massive 7kg clothes capacity and an amazing 5kg water condenser capacity. Having never brought a seperate tumble dryer before i had reservations however these soon faded.
The indesit IS70C has excellent performance drying clothes extremely well and giving off little heat. I assumed a machine its size would be extremely noisy however to my amazement it was superby quiet. With a push to open door and a pull...

Nokia N70 Music Edition
Advantages: With great features
Disadvantages: Phone loads slower when many files are stored
...Nokia N70 Music Edition
It was 3 years ago when I needed to replace my old mobile phone. I liked the design of Nokia N70 when I first held it so I thought I would be buying Nokia N70 too. Then I found out that Nokia N70 Music Edition was a little better and upgraded without compromising the look of the mobile phone that I liked and comes with 1 gigabyte memory card.
The Body
Nokia N70 Music Edition comes in a black color and keypad which weighs 126 grams and measures 108.8 mm in length, 53 mm in width and 21.8 mm in thickness. The big screen measures 2.1 inches with 262,000 colour support. The cover consists of the front, the upper backhead and the back cover. The back cover has sliding extension which reveals the back camera lens and the flash when slid downwards and hides them when slid upwards.
The black was too...

Sony CMT-BX70DBi. Micro hifi review
Advantages: iPod dock, Digital tuner, Price
Disadvantages: Sound quality, features could be thought out better
...After years of faithful service from my Aiwa separates, the amplifier finally gave up the ghost earlier this year so I decided to look for an inexpensive and smaller alternative. After several days of shopping around online, I decided on the Sony CMT-BX70DBi, tempted mainly be the low price (around £115 at the time).
I must admit I viewed it as a stop-gap purchase at the time but now, several months later, I have still not been tempted to replace it with a more expensive unit. Here is my review...
The unit is quite compact and light enough to be placed on a sturdy shelf (but don't place it too high up because the controls are on top of the unit). The speakers are detached from the main unit and the wires are around 6 feet in length, providing further placement options.
The rear of the unit has sockets for AM, FM and Digital (DAB...

A look into the future with Nokia's N70
Advantages: Its fab, stylish, looks and feels great
Disadvantages: Can be slow to open applications, scratches easily
...Usually once a year there comes a time when we get all excited and yet nervous, it's a bit like Christmas, will we get what we want or will it be a big disappointment and we'll have to wait til next year and start over again...yes its time to chose a new phone!! Having finally decided to go for a Nokia N70 in January this year, for reasons of versatility over my existing Nokia 6230, stylish looks, more megapixels for the camera (2 mp), it was actually really difficult to get hold of.
It's quite hard choosing a phone just from seeing a dummy one or reading the specs but this time I read a few reviews as well. At first they made me more confused - so is my review going to help anyone I ask myself?! I think they helped me when I read a good selection to get a good cross section of views. They helped me to see what bugged other...

Fuji FinePix F70EXR - slimline super-zoom
Advantages: Features, Low-light capability
Disadvantages: A little confusing to master and a little too expensive
...The Fuji FinePix F70EXR is billed by the manufacturer as the slimmest 10x zoom camera on the market and, at less than 23mm in depth, it is certainly very easy and convenient to carry around. The zoom is great for magnification, being the equivalent of 27-270mm in 35mm terms, but I found it to be a little fuzzy at the long end. There is also a 4x digital zoom for anyone who wants it.
The FinePix F-series cameras are renowned for their low-light (high ISO) capabilities and the F70EXR should be no exception, sharing as it does the 1/2 inch sensor of the F200EXR but with 2 million fewer pixels crammed onto it. Also the EXR technology is great for combating noise on higher ISO shots.
Obviously the F70EXR is small, compact and lightweight and, in general, feels great to hold, with all the controls being conveniently placed ? apart from...

Nokia N70
Advantages: Amazing features, easy to use,
Disadvantages: Feels slightly plastic
...I decided to get a new phone because I had trouble getting signal in my local area with my old network. I went into the store without any idea which phone I wanted and to be honest nothing really jumped out at me.
I wanted a small phone with all the usual features, camera, music etc but most of the phones seemed quite big. The salesperson showed me a few and then showed me the N70. I wasn't 100% sure but I liked the fact it had a lot of features and the screen size is relatively big. The only thing that put me off was that it appeared to be quite chunky. When I compared it to me old phone, the Motorola V3 however, I realised it wasn't much bigger. It's only approx 3/4cm taller if that, and although it is thicker, when you compare the capabilities of each phone it is unbelievable.
The N70 has a 2megapixel camera and a videocamera...

Nokia N70
Advantages: Lots of features, multimedia device, graphics
Disadvantages: size
...is, you have to remove the cover to take photos, which can be a bit fiddly when you need to capture something quickly.
I've taken a few photos, uploaded them to the pc and the quality is ok, I don't use it as a main camera but is good enough to capture pictures when you need to.
I love to download new ringtones and games, and although I have already found lots of new ones there is still lots of memory space for other things, such as messages/photos/videos.
I have also found the profiles setting helpful, I can save all the settings I require of the phone whilst I am work, i.e. vibration/silent etc then only have to press 1 or 2 buttons to change to normal settings without going through every option.
~~ Features of the Nokia N70 include: ~~
2 megapixel camera (1600 x 1200 pixels) with 20x digital zoom and flash Video recorder...

Received my N70...
Advantages: Good looking, Good camera, Supplied with USB Cable!
Disadvantages: Sometimes slow to respond
...Having decided to upgrade my phone, I plumped for the Nokia N70 whilst staying on O2. I went for the 12month contract and pay £50 for the phone instead of getting the phone for free, but commit to an 18 month contract - I will want to change before that!!
Opening the box with anticipation I was met with a good looking phone (I'd only ever seen the dummy model in the shops) and it has a good weight to it - but not too much that it affects the phone. The sim card is easy to put in, and the battery slots in, and then it is just to slide the plastic back on. The back does feel a bit flimsy but once on the phone, it doesn't matter about that!
Switching on the phone plays the nokia theme and shows the joining hands - but it took a while to get to that point - about 30seconds in all. I feel that this is a bit slow for a phone to boot up, but...

The Nokia N70 phone
Advantages: Very easy to use, cover for camera screen
Disadvantages: slow when full of data
...days.
Although the phone itself is expensive, it can be bought on a contract (with free handset) and you can get some very good deals with these. I think that even buying the phone sim free (without a contract) is still good value for money as the phone will last as long as you make it.
The N70 has a great range of features. I find the camera takes exceptional pictures. You can get huge memory cards for this phone allowing you to save large amounts of data on your phone. I find some of the best features of this phone are the camera, mp3 player, radio and also being able to save all your data into your own named files, meaning it is very easy to locate your data. You can also print your pictures from your phone to a desktop printer with the USB cable and software provided with the phone.
I would highly recomend this phone to...
