Advantages: Looks stylish
Disadvantages: looks can be deceptive, not designed for sitting on ha ha

...My medion lasted the 1 year warranty period. I may or may have not got ripped off with the price,. I bought it from woolworths for £349, in the sales last year. It comes with a 15.4 inch lcd screen which is a good size for watching dvds, it also comes with a dvd re-writer, though I think most laptops do nowadays. Its ram is around 892 mb, which is not quite 1gb as the company would have you belive. In the year I have had it, there have been some niggling issues, such as when the battery meter says theres 60 minutes left, it will then say low battery after ten minuites. I found it easier to use as a staionery computer so that it can have a regular power source. I have also found that the usb cables don't stay in very well, any slight movement and they fall out. Medion 96100 series. It's a German thing!

Advantages: Super screen, good performance, nice looks.
Disadvantages: Awful speakers, good do with more RAM.

...Medion. Has anyone heard of this brand? I recently popped into Aldi to find this very laptop. On the box was a plethora pictures, snazzy fonts and loads of information which begged 'buy me!'. And, er...I did. Inside was a vast array of accessories which was quite a bonus: 1x Medionmouse, 2x Long Life Batteries (about four hours each), TV (Freeview) card, laptop bag and of course the various adaptors and documentation. The laptop itself feels very well made; the top and bottom section is made from a dim aluminium and the rest is silver plastic with the exception of the little grille over the speakers. As you can see from the Ciao! website, this has an excellent specification and plenty of hard drive space with a healthy 1GB RAM, 256mb shared ATI graphics, a blazing 1.8Ghz Turion 64, 100+GB Hard Drive space and Windows Vista Home...

THE BEST MULTI-FUNCTIONAL DIVX DVD PLAYER EVER

I then checked out the speciforcations. I was supprised as this has everything needed and more. This television has a 180 degree angle screen which means you can watch it anywhere in the room (watch out as some more expensive televisions do not have this). The sound quality is excellent and it also has a 2 tuner PIP (which means picture in picture). It also has a hdmi socket. The pixels on this television give a very clear picture.
