The Perfume of a Princess!

Advantages: Smells Very Distinctive, Long Lasting, Beautiful Bottle, Very Feminine
Disadvantages: May be too sweet and floral for some

...One of my favourite things to treat myself to is perfume and those who have read my earlier reviews will know that I am a self confessed perfume addict. I love the different varieties you can buy all with their own distinctive scents and pretty bottles. I have worked hard at my perfume addiction though and have really cut back on the amount that I buy ? these days I adopt a one in one out rule as I started getting far too many bottles of half used fragrances sat in my wardrobe (any perfume lover knows that you keep bottles out of daylight to keep them smelling fresh). Before we went on honeymoon I used up a couple of bottles of perfume and so I decided to treat myself to something new rather than buy a replacement for the fragrances that I just finished from the duty free shop at the airport. Emerald, a Jewel in the Mediterranean.

Advantages: Excellent value at the price.
Disadvantages: Few trimmings

It was just over a year ago, and I was feeling jaded and tired when I saw on the internet a cutprice Thomson cruise holiday in the Mediterranean. I had no hesitation in booking at once. Mediterranean cuisine in Wales

Advantages: petit picturesque location,good turkish food, friendly accommodating staff, cheap prices

...During my recent travels to the beautiful Welsh coastline I came across this delightful Turkish restaurant called "Mediterranean" in the petit Victorian town of Mumbles*. There are a variety of restaurants in Mumbles from fine French, English, Italian and Indian but this is apparently the only Turkish restaurant in South Wales. Meditteranean is a fairly new restaurant in Mumbles has only been open for approx. 10 months. We found this restaurant on a freezing Winters night after finishing the infamous “Mumbles Mile” round of the pubs..... We wondered if we’d get a complete meal at this late time (after 10.30p.m) in such a small town. A taste of the Mediterranean from your own home

Advantages: Chunky chicken; lovely creamy sauce; juicy peppers
Disadvantages: I froze it when I shouldn't have but no harm done!

...I love Asda's range of 'fresh tastes' prepared chickens variations (NB - The used to be called 'GO COOK'). There are a huge range; my other favourite is the mago chicken but you can get chicken en croute; chicken in lime/ barbeacue/ orange' thighs etc... In each tin foiled tray you get two chicken breasts. This serves 2 people but my step-dad eats a pack to himself...men! I chose 'Asda Fresh Tastes Mediterranean chicken breasts' because they had everything I love wth chicken (i.e. Cheese, peppers and onions). The product description sounded appealing - '2 chicken breasts with peppers and red onion in a rich tomato sauce, topped with feta cheese'. I've never tried feta cheese but there only seemed to be a few cubes of it as I pulled off the cardboard sleeve to peer into the contents of the container. I figured I could scrape it off if...

Where's The Fragrance?

Advantages: Attractive.
Disadvantages: Very disappointing - lack of fragrance!

There is therefore a very thick, waste of wax from the top of the glass, around the wick to where it is burned down to at this stage and I loathe waste!! ~ The Smell ~ I was really looking forward to the warm, wintery smell of the nutmeg and I am not averse to pomegranate although not really an expert on the scent given by a pomegranate so I couldn't wait to have my room filled with these fragrances. On opening the packaging, I was a little disappointed, not a strong smell of either of these products but I had high hopes for when it was lit. Bratty perfume from the bratty mother!

...Ok I am officially a horrible person! Every year we (myself, my daughter, her school friends and there parents), attend the Easter bingo at her school. This year was no different! A group of us went and as usual commandeered a table and settled down to a fun night! During the final throws of the evening (the raffle!), my friends daughter and my daughters best friend Courtney handed me her perfume to smell, (these bloody kids are more like teenagers, scary considering they are only 7!), I pulled at the lid thinking that was the way it opened, only to be told it was a screw lid, about five seconds after I had snapped the top of the bottle off!
