Benidorm
Advantages: plenty to do, sun, sea
Disadvantages: no disadvantages
...For my honeymoon last July we wemt to Benidorm and it was the best holiday that we have had had. I'd go back there again.
There are people of all ages there, and things to do for everyone. You would never be bored of things to do.
Benidorm is split in to two parts, the old town and the new town. The old town is where the locals live and is quieter and the new town is where the tourists go and is very lively. We stayed in the new town but did go to the old town a few times.
There is a theme park called terra mittica, where there are quite a few rides to go on. This theme park opened last summer. The theme park is in sections and named after different countries. There are different rides for adults and children. There is a rollercoaster which I did not go on as I do not like them, waterlog, a ride like the pepsi max at Blackpool...

The Flamingo Benidorm Hotel
Advantages: All Inclusive, Plenty Of Entertainment
Disadvantages: Lots Of Kids
...I recently stayed at the Flamingo Benidorm Hotel in Benidorm, Spain for 7 nights between the 17th and 24th October 2006.
LOCATION
The Hotel is located about 800 metres inland from Levante Beach, and about the same distance from the Old Town. It is set in one of the quieter parts of the resort on a slight incline. It is not to be confused with two other Hotels in Benidorm that have similar names; The Flamingo Oasis Benidorm and the Flamingo Aparthotel.
The address of the hotel where I stayed is as below:
Flamingo Benidorm
C. Marbella, 2
03503 Benidorm
Alicante
Spain
Tel. +34 96 586 53 53
Fax. +34 96 683 02 45
email: book.flamingobenidorm@marconfort.com
THE EXTERIOR
From the outside this Hotel does not look anything special. It is a tall building, as are almost all of the Hotels in Benidorm with 25...

Fantastic benidorm hotel flamingo oasis
Advantages: Either for a family holday or just a adult gettaway
Disadvantages: none in my opinion
...I have stayed at this hotel about three or four times, but many more times in benidorm however this is by far the best hotel in benidorm in my opinion.from arriving the staff are just so friendly and welcoming they really can not do enough for you, there is a very wide range of entertainment starting from nine in the morning through until the early hours. during the day there have water activities for both adults and children, also daytime disco kareoke on an evening the entertainment is aimed for both adults and children totally family friendly, the food at the hotel was far above what i was expecting the food varies from day to day, they serve food from breakfast to midnight. there is also a small bar and resteraunt out side by the pool were you can grab a burger normally i like to explore out of the hotel however for the full week i...

If you have never been to Benidorm before
Advantages: lovely scenery, places to visit, warm temp, lots to do
Disadvantages: slippery downhill marble paths, READ MY BUYER BEWARE OP
...?Then you will have by the time you?ve finished reading this opinion?
I love writing about my travels, so I hope you will enjoy reading this opinion, as much as I will enjoy writing it. If you need any more information about Benidorm once you?ve read this, then feel free to leave a message in my guest book.
I have been to Benidorm (situated in the province of Alicante in Costa Blanca) twice now with my boyfriend Paul. The first time I went was on 11th September 2001, so as you have perhaps guessed ? many of the planes were delayed. This was my first time out of the UK too, so the longer we had to wait, the more nerve-racking it got. I had always wondered what it would be like in an aeroplane, thousands of feet up in the air, the huge drop to the ground below, wispery, transparent clouds rushing by unknowingly, the sound...

Benidorm
Advantages: Usually fine weather
Disadvantages: Can be rather cold
...Benidorm is what you make it! As an acknowledged venue for excellent climate the town itself can be either a bore after the first few days or a delight to explore further. Like most people I headed for the entertainment venues on Levante Beach and was amazed at how different the area is between the daytime and the nightime. During the day the front is a hive of activity with people walking constantly up and down the beautiful promenade. The beach is very clean although you must get used to walking into the bars to use the loos. The food is exceptionally cheap and the Chinese restaurants are probably the best for service and quality of food. The night scene can be a little disappointing. I was working in the bars presenting my cabaret act so I can tell you there were many seedy bars that I preferred to keep away from. The classiest bar in...

Best Western Hotel Mediterraneo, Catania
Advantages: Very comfortable beds
Disadvantages: Location, Poor room service
...etc. I wished I had booked the Una Palace in Via Etnea, which looked brilliant. It is in the main shopping street with loads of cafes, bars, shops etc. and has a roof terrace which would give brilliant views of the volcano. I thought about moving hotels, but couldn't afford to pay again.
My hotel room was very comfortable and clean with a modern bathroom with the usual toiletries. A reasonable buffet breakfast is included in the price. Room service seemed very restricted ? although the bar did toasted sandwiches.
If you are on a tight budget, advance internet booking on Best Western's website gives good value for money for the Hotel Mediterraneo. However, I don?t think this hotel would suit everyone. It certainly wouldn't impress the girlfriend and I wouldn?t want my mother walking round there on her own at night. The streets were...

December in Benidorm
Advantages: An All inclusive hotel with unusually large rooms and balconies.
Disadvantages: Sun loungers around the pool do not have mattresses.
...December 2003 was my first time in Benidorm and it was not my last - staying at the Benidorm Flamingo Aparthotel certainly helped make my stay memorable.
This aparthotel has a three star rating and in my opinion this is well justified. From the minute you check in at reception all the staff make you feel very welcome - they are all so friendly.
The apartments are great, individually controlled air conditioning/central heating in each one, also must surely be the largest balconies around, there's plenty of room to sunbathe out here as they are brilliant suntraps. I preferred to sunbathe on the balcony as the loungers round the pool didn't have mattresses and they were rather hard plastic types.
The All Inclusive restaurant is good, I'd be surprised if anyone couldn't get something to suit their taste, the only drawback here is that...

Benidorm for the Young and Young at Heart
Advantages: climate, distance from uk, relatively cheap, friendly
Disadvantages: busy, can be noisy, 'nightlife'
...Last June, my husband and I and our three children, aged 7, 5 and 2 years decided to go on holiday to Benidorm for the first time. This was not our first holiday abroad and drawing on previous experience decided to opt for somewhere with a short flight time, bearing in mind the ages of our children.
The flight lasted approximately two hours which passed thankfully uneventful and the whole family emerged happy and looking forward to the next two weeks. It was the beginning of June so we weren't sure what the weather would be like and we were delighted that the weather was considerably warmer than England even though it was about 8.00pm. Benidorm is about an hour's drive away from Alicante airport. The coach driver took the main route, which is like a motorway, so we didn't see a lot of scenery. We were staying at the Monika...

Hotel Riudor Benidorm ~ Basic Good Value
Advantages: Location in Rincon de Loix near Levante Beach
Disadvantages: Noise from surrounding bars - but that's Benidorm!
...The Riudor is one of those sort of "standard" Benidorm hotels. The Location is rather good, its listed as being on the Avenida Mediterraneo, but that's only the address, the swimming pool area fronts onto the Avenida, whilst the real entrance is towards the back of the hotel in a small passageway there.
Drop off points from the airport will always end up here, as there is then only about twenty metres from the coach or taxi to the hotel front entrance. Local taxis will always drop here also, they know where the entrance is!
Levante Beach is only a few minutes walk, and most rooms at the hotel have some sort of sea view through the buildings from each of the hotel balconies.
Bus stops into the Old Town and out of Benidorm are about 120 mteres and 160 metres away, turn right out of the hotel down the passage to the Avenida...

Duffers Guide to Benidorm area (ish)
Advantages: Sun, sea, sand and sangria
Disadvantages: Benidorm is like Blackpool
...to depart. Taxi'd out to the runway, and whaddya know - hit by a snow shower - taxi back to the terminal to de-ice the wings :-} We arrived in Alicante without further delay, and were allocated a hotel called Albir Gardens and ushered to the right coach quite efficiently, which took around 40 minutes to get to the hotel.
We found ourselves in a place called (not surprisingly) Albir, which was about 5 miles out of Benidorm, and about a 20 minute walk to the seafront. The area is quite pleasant, without the plethora of skyscrapers as found in Benidorm - the hotel itself only about 2 storeys high, with some rooms in the main building above and around reception, but many in small blocks away from the main building, mainly around the pool area. These blocks had 3 seperate entrances with 3 apartments (or was it 4) per floor per entrance...
