Medium but with a large side of enjoyment

Advantages: Has everything I love in one show, dectectives, comedy, psychic powers and drama
Disadvantages: None for me

I think that the term medium in the sense of this programme is incorrect as mediums are usually seen as Derek Acccorah TV types, or funny old woman at fun fairs. Medium: TV's best kept secret

Advantages: Great storylines, great acting, fascinating

...I first managed to catch this show on BBC2 late one evening. I had read about it in the TV guide, saying it was a new show about psychics starring the American actress Patricia Arquette. It didn't really sound like my cup of tea but there was nothing else on so I thought I would give it a go, and I am glad I did. Medium is about, funnily enough, a Medium. The character who Patricia Arquette plays is called Allison DuBois, a lady who has dreams and visions about crimes of all sorts. Advantages: well-crafted, attractive film
Disadvantages: lacking sparkle

...or two teardrops got the better of me, but that's all. I'm tough, me. I think that despite the film being pleasingly unpredictable in many ways, I felt the lack of any sort of resolution going beyond what was already given and understood. To paraphrase Alice's Red Queen, it felt like we were running as fast as we could just to keep still. The fact is that this is a good film, and very much worth watching but not, I think, with expectations that are too high. Also, although it is probably well-served by the medium of the big screen, I wouldn't say that it would lack that much charm on the small screen, and unless you're a die-hard Burton fan or can't think what else to see, it's just as well to wait. Disadvantages: A few weak tracks, sometimes difficult to listen too

I was not really expecting this track after the type of tracks that come before but maybe this side of the album needed a reinvention of pace. 8.5/10 11. Storm In A Teacup (3.44) - This sounds like speeded hip-hop with grunge inserted in between. Never fear though, still sounding good and true to the bands style. 8/10 12. .... The next few days, Mary comes into work happy until she meets her next bride and groom. They are rich and famous enough to get her a promotion. The groom however, turns out to be her date and she is shocked and left in an awkward situation. She can either dump the case and her promotion, or stay on and have to organise the marriage of her date.
