While not as well known or written about as the former, The Medusa Touch sits comfortably in their company, as it deals with more than just the terror of the central story, a man who can will destruction, but in part also addresses issues of guilt and responsibility and the existence of God in a seemingly Godless world. But despite all its nods to worthiness, The Medusa Touch succeeds in being a damn good romp. Do Not Leave Me

Advantages: Plenty of incident
Disadvantages: Passable acting

...The director, Larry Shaw, shoe horned so many incidents into this film as to make it almost unbelievable but it did keep the suspense going right to the end. However I have seen better acting from the cornflakes packet on my breakfast table than in this thrilling tale of mayhem in the air. It doesn’t quite qualify as a “B” movie because of the story line but then the acting isn’t up to “A” movie standard so maybe it should be categorised as a B +. Except that is from Martin Sheen as the President of the US of A and John Glover as the mad scientist although we didn’t see a great deal of them. ...Few films stick in my mind as a child clearly, I guess when your younger you dont absorb the information like others adults may. Or maybe it works the other way; I have seen films this year I remember nothing about. The Medusa Touch is not a forgotton film, you see it and you remember it, regardless of age. Everyone I have ever mentioned this to may not have remembered the title but remembered some of the most intricate details of the film. If you enjoy the Omen movies you'll enjoy this. COX at it's best

Advantages: very well crafted, beutifull lyrics

...Beautiful Darkwave/ Goth music at its best from the 80s. If you feel ever so slightly melancholic, this is the stuff to listen to right now if you want to emphasise the whole feeling and maybe you never know get yourself inspired in whatever you want to create. Ronny Mooring, the creative force behind this, got struck by the creative lightning and got touched by the hand of God itself because he made one of the most beautiful music my ears ever heard on this album. Clan of Xymox has became over the years a cult band. Ronny continued writing even more brilliant music and still plays live including some tracks from this very album like "Back Door", "Louise", "Medusa" and he plays live a great acoustic version of "Agonized by Love" -you can also hear it on the live CDs realised sometime in 2000....

Series 1 - The Slaves Of Jedikiah / Medusa Strain / The Vanishing Earth I remembered the earlier shows, probably from 1973 when it first aired through to 1979 when it initially ended. Watching it again on DVD was very very enjoyable and to be honest quite refreshing. It was at the time an imaginative program and held a 70's quaintness. Remembered nothing of the second incarnation of the show, 1992 - 1995 and again nothing of the third reinvented show from 2001 - 2007. You follow some rare talented humans as they 'Break out' and change from normal humans to the next stage in human evolution. They have abilities such as telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation. As with all heroes they have a secret base and a super computer...

Wheelie, wheelie good

...I'd never heard of Drive before the news and adverts started trickling through into the DVD and film mags. Which isn't strange considering it's had a pretty sheltered life so far. Butchered by it's American distributors and not given a theatrical release, Medusa Pictures present the restored Director's cut which adds about 19 minutes back into the film along with the origianl film, according to those in the know these 19 minutes change the whole tone of the film. And who am I to argue as it's an excellent buddy/martial arts hybrid which kept me glued for the duration. Some of the martial arts on display had me wincing just thinking about how fit Mark Dacacos must me. It's damn funny too, but I won't give away any plot clues. The icing on the cake for me is the extras though, it's jam packed, an 1 hour making of docco, deleted...

A headset that offers true 5.1 sound.

Advantages: True 5.1 surround sound, clear quality, built in mic.
Disadvantages: Not very durable and breaks easily.

...Theres not many headsets out there that can say they have full 5.1 surround sound. The medusa 5.1 pulls this off very well and is a fantastic headset for gaming. Let me start of with the packaging. The headset is wonderfully packaged inside the box. Complete with soft lining and ribbon to finnish. A nice surprise. It comes with all the cables that you need, and more that I couldn't work out what they were for. Set up was a little tricky and the manual that it came with wasn't the most helpful. After about an hour or so of fiddling with the cables and doing sound checks I managed to get the 5.1 working, including the microhpone. The quality you get from the headphones is great. Crisp sounds and a decent level of volume. Obviously the 5.1 isn't as distinguished as a full set of surround sound speakers will ever be, but it does...
