Scott Joplin lived and composed in a house in Delmar Boulevard, St Louis from 1901 ? 6. The house is now open as a museum to Joplin - more of this in a separate review. Clang, Clang, Clang Goes The Trolley

Advantages: Best Judy Garland Film Ever
Disadvantages: Quite Sentimental

...of those films that has a little bit of everything, singing, dancing, romance, comedy, and of course, a whole hunk of Judy! For me, The Trolley Song, is the highlight, Judy?s expressions are a delight to behold, if somewhat over the top. Other songs featured are: The Boy Next Door, Skip To My Lou, Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas, and Meet Me In St Louis Now out to buy on DVD (the video having been deleted ages ago) you can finally enjoy all the songs, and in better quality than when it first came in 1944. Tonight, Matthew, we're going to be Yes

Advantages: One really good song
Disadvantages: more Yes than Yes

...It Bites were formed in Cumbria at the beginning of the 1980s, moved to London later that decade and released their first album in 1986 called "The Big Lad In The Windmill". It contained two hit singles Calling All The Heroes and All In Red. Its follow up "Once Around The World" was not so well received. The arty rock style that the band played has never been really in, not even in the late 1980's, so we now arrive at this, the crucial third album. The line up at the time of release was Francis Dunnery (guitar, vocals), Dick Nolan (bass, vocals), Bob Dalton - (drums) and John Beck (keyboards). The title comes from a rather simplistic take on the Judy Garland film "Meet Me In St Louis", the cover artwork is by Roger Dean, famous for Yes' dreamlike covers of the 1970's, and the music....well by now It Bites might as well...

After a short projected film about the history of the Arch and St.Louis and the Mississippi, our Trams arrived and out popped the leaving passengers, leaving the empty seats for us. In my opinion, to call them 'Trams' was rather, well, strange. They're egg shaped pods, and they were TINY. They looked like something Mike TeeVee would ride in, in 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory', they were space shuttle white in colour and futuristic looking in design. The ceiling is sloped, which means that tall people have to lean forward. It was really funny squeezing in and promptly meeting your fellow passengers, as there are only 5 seats, so you are situated knee to knee?cosy! Once the doors closed, there was no escaping.   St Tropez - Whipping me up into a Summer Frenzy!

Advantages: Natural looking tan that lasts for several days
Disadvantages: Needs a bit of practice to get just right

St Tropez do their own facial bronzer which adapts to the shade and tone of your skin in the same way as the Whipped Bronze Mousse does, so your tan should look pretty flawless. Just a quick note on finishing off. Use the tan corrector wipes anywhere that you think you may have overdone the application. However, bear in mind that if you use these wipes straight away, they will removal all the tan from the area you wipe, so be sure to reapply to avoid streaks and patches. Also, even though you have been wearing the mit (surely you won't have ignored this piece of advice?!) be sure to clean you hands throughly with the wipes. Applying the tan to your hands is a bit of a problem since you will invariably feel the need to wash once you're done applying the mousse. The wipes...
