Theme Park - Mega Drive

Advantages: Create your own theme park man!!
Disadvantages: Can be a little hard at times and a little repititive

...boring. Also as with most sims, this was a one player only so your pals couldnt get involved, graphic however were good for its time. Bright and colourful But its a really good game and although i dont have my mega drive anymore, its available on most formats and a newer, updated version too where you can actually go on the rides to test them out! Advantages: A classic game with simple but effective storylines and actions

...This game was released back in 91 and was a sequel to the highly rated Golden Axe. Having not played the previous version i was bought this version as a youngster and for a while was probably my favourite game on the mega drive. The story is very basic, you are tasked with retaining the golden axe from the dark guld, who you will meet at the end of the game. The game is quite a simple side scrolling hack em up beat em up set in fantasy medieval times where at the end of each level you met an end boss and battled til the death. Simple but effective! The biggest game on the Mega Drive

Advantages: Absolutely MASSIVE
Disadvantages: Challenging. Sometimes it is hard to tell where to go. Controls slightly glitchy

You could even have an option to have a genesis(or mega drive) controller in the top corner whilst you are on the maps. The battle controls are fiddly at first, but you can get used to them. And if you can't, you could turn battle onto auto. Speaking of which, there are many modes you can select in battle, such as bezerk, or advance. Also, the menus have tons and tons of options. However, there are some problems. Sometimes, when you are walking, the controls will make you walk in the same direction after you let go of the button, and sometimes makes you stay on the same spot facing different directions. ...When i purchased this game back in the early 90s, i had world cup italia 90 to rival sensible soccer, little did i know how many hours of my youth id spend playing this game! Id heard my mates talk about this as it was quite popular on the PC but i only had a mega drive so had to wait for its release, once i got involved i was hooked. The zoomed out birds eye view was classic. I remember the controls to be really easy to get used to, with 3 buttons on the control pad it wouldnt be hard, plus with the added extra of after touch, which i had never seen before, putting curl on the ball and deceiving goalkeepers. When you start the game you are bought into a world of pure football, you could pretty much create what you wanted which was why i enjoyed it so much. You could create leagues of up to 24 teams, tournaments, round robins...
