For Cuba, go to Plymouth.
Advantages: Friendly pub.
Disadvantages: Sometimes trouble.
...Cuba is a pub in the middle of Plymouth, and it is to be found on the street that is called North Hill. This is to be found leading away from the Drake Circus shopping centre towards Mutley Plain, and is to be found right opposite the University of Plymouth.
It is open from around lunchtime until at least one or two o?clock in the morning, and is very popular with both students and locals...

Cuba's tourist trap.
Advantages: The sun, the sea and the sand.
Disadvantages: This isn't the real Cuba.
...Varadero is an odd place - it is a beach resort located on the Caribbean island of Cuba, but in many ways it is the complete opposite of everything that encompasses the true essence of Cuba. It is nothing more than a tourist cocoon where people go to soak up the sun and lap up the tropical beach.

Cuba... Caribbean with a Difference.
Advantages: Tropical Paradise, Havana, All inclusive hotels.
Disadvantages: Scary Customs.
...and has a large nature reserve. I guess it would be possible to have a very relaxing and filling holiday hanging around the hotel and beaches but personally I like to get out and about so on with the excursions.
