We looked at the advantages and disadvantages of each and the one that came out on top of our list was the coil. I decided that when I went to my Practice Nurse for my six week post natal check up, I would ask for some advice about getting one fitted. I was very surprised to find out that the local GP and Practice Nurse no longer do them - you can only have them fitted at a Family Planning Clinic. I took the decision that I couldn't let her go completely and had her body collected by a local Pet Cemetery and decided to have her cremated and bring her home for her last journey with us.
