...I have now had my budgie for over a month now. My sister received the 9 week year old budgie as a birthday present complete with a cage and equipment. She was happy to receive the budgie. Taking care of a budgie is not that difficult as you think. The first few weeks are quite difficult. In this opinion I will give members advice on looking after budgies. °Brief History° ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ I do not now that much about budgies but from my knowledge I think budgies were found and originally came from Australia while they were living in flocks and searching for food. ...grieving process you would encounter if a family member passed away. I took the decision that I couldn't let her go completely and had her body collected by a local Pet Cemetery and decided to have her cremated and bring her home for her last journey with us. For part of my grieving process I scouted all the Garden Centres for a rose which would sum my Holly up and for me to look out on and have her close at my side like she had been for those 8 years. One of the things I find hard to understand is the opinion of others who have not had the joy of a dog in their lives. They see you break down and their words of "it's only a dog" stick in your mind, they just do not understand that it isn't just a dog, it is a friend, a companion, a loved one a large part of your life, a friend you share each day and night with and who keeps you company...

...Now you will probably here a lot of stories in the news about the widespread outbreak of Swine Flu also known as the influenza A virus subtype H1N1, which has caused mass media hysteria for some months now. ...Running I thought I'd offer my own insight and advice on running, seeing as I've just taken it up myself in the past few months. I'll say first that I absolutly love running - it gets you outside, you get fresh air, and you can stay fit and feel better about yourself afterwards. When To Run I honestly don't know if there is a scientifically proven best time to run. All I can do is offer my own experiences, which are that I find it much easier to run in the afternoons, but also much more peaceful to run in the mornings. If I run in the morning, I'll do it at about 7am. I'll get up, warm up, then go. What's good about this is that everywhere is quiet, and you are running much more freely because you don't have to worry about other people around you. ...BULLYING IN SCHOOLS When I was younger and got to high school I got bullied. It was horrific at the time and really knocked my confidence. I couldn't see the big picture and that I wasn't going to be at school for the rest of my life. I thought it was the end of the world. Since then I have realised that most people get bullied at school at some stage and that I wasn't as alone as I thought. Unfortunately as everyone knows bullying isn't just confined to schools and playgrounds. Member advice on Migraine.

...away from the rest of the world for a couple of hours. My migraines were initially bought on by stress, and thankfully I have learnt to nearly overcome this. I used to get migraine regularly (about once a wekk) when I was at school because of the situation that I was in at the time, but now they come less than twice a year. So just don't go getting yourself too stressed out! I was also advised that I wasn't drinking enough, and therefore because I was getting dehydrated I was suffering with a migraine. Therefire, now that I drink at least 2 litres of water a day (as well as other drinks), this could also add to the success of my not getting very many now....
