Ipod shuffle 1GB

Advantages: Easy to use with simple menus
Disadvantages: Perhaps not eneough storage for some

...I was brought one of these ipod shuffle, 1 gb for Christmas. Ｉhave previously owned an ipod nano and have to say that I much prefer the shuffle, I have found it much more easy to use and more easy to attach to my clothing whilst using it in the gym. The battery life lasts ages, at least 7 hours and can be charged up by a wide variety of methods so its very easy to do so whatever the circumstances. It holds approximately 240 songs which is adequate for my needs, and itunes makes it very easy to chop and change the tracks I want on there quickly by connecting to the computer by a usb cable. ...When I upgraded my mobile phone, with the upgrade I also got 2 free tickets to see pirates of the caribean (sorry can never spell that word!) and a free Ipod Shuffle. I thought this was great, I was getting the new phone I wanted with freebies, it was even better because I needed a new Ipod as my previous ones were forever breaking, but to tell the truth I didn't have much hope for the Ipod Shuffle either. At 1.62 inches long and weighing half an ounce this tiny ipod is the worlds smallest music player! Although it is so tiny it holds 1GB, which is about 240 songs, which is more than 120 that the old ipod shuffle could hold. The amount of songs that it can exactly hold depends on the size of the song you are uploading to it. If you are uploading bigger files then you will fit less on and vice versa. 1GB Memory Stick with Neck Lanyard

Advantages: Looks Pretty Good, LED Light displays when in use, Small in Size

...and the operating system automatically recognizes and installs it for you! Upon first connecting the device to a computer it takes around 30 seconds in my case for the memory stick to be displayed and open under 'My Computer'. It also worked on an Apple Mac laptop. The stick allegedly holds 1GB of data, but mine will store up to 975MB. Although 25MB short of what it has been advertised to store, this is a marked improvement from a typical hard drives' advertised capacity and what you can actually get. 975MB is still enough to hold a 700MB SD movie, 250ish songs or a bunch of pictures and documents. This memory stick has served me well the last half-year or so but I will be spending my money on a larger, at least 2GB memory stick in the near future as my portable media needs grow. ...Good Points It does what it says on the tin, it plays music well. The Shuffle is excellent to travel with thanks to its small size and light weight. Also it clips to your clothing which is great if you wanted to go running. It is very durable, I have droped mine a number of times and it has had little effect on the iPod Bad Points Its small memory holds it\'s rating back. Lack of a screen holds it back. General Comments I have had my Ipod Shuffle for about a year and so far it has done the job that I thought it would do, played music.
