...Midnight Cowboy was director John Schlesinger's 1969 classic Oscar winning masterpiece portraying the shattered optimism of the American dream starring Jon Vought (father of Angelina Jolie) as male-prostitute Joe Buck and Dustin Hoffman as his sleazy scheming friend Enrico 'Ratso' Rizzo. The film follows Texan Joe as he naively sets off for New York to earn his fortune as a hustler. Upon arrival he finds little success and things only get worse when he befriends greasy con-merchant Rizzo. This album is a true soundtrack of the film in that, unlike many modern soundtracks, it truly follows the sequence of events in the film rather than just being a collection of hit songs banged together and added to the movie after it's finished. Midnight Cowboy : A piece of cinematic genius from all involved

Advantages: Superb acting & directing, highly atmospheric, something for everyone
Disadvantages: None whatsoever

As ?Ratso?s? health deteriorates, he relies heavily on Joe to help him with his mobility, and Joe in turn relies on ?Ratso?s? rather dubious business acumen and sense of opportunism. ...Probably the most popular boot of the last 20 years. If I had a pound for every person I saw wearing these boots then... I'd have quit Dooyoo a long time ago! Looks These boots have become iconic for their traditional plain and simple look. They are famous for being mostly black apart from adidas's signature three white stripes. They are made of high quality leather, allowing for brilliant control, I have been using copa's for my entire career and most have lasted me at least 2 years. The laces are plain and simple, no nifty flashy side of the boot supa doopa powerswerve lacing here, just good old straight lacing down the middle perfect for a battling central midfielder like myself... albeit much less battling in recent years. The Defenders Boot!

...Put quite simply - this is the best boot I have ever worn throughout my football career. The durability and quality of leather are second to no other boot on the market. However its biggest appeal in the market must be the comfort of the boot. You could quite easily lounge round the house in these boots if it wasn't for the studs on the bottom! I can think of only one downside to the boot - many people criticise there looks? But then as a simple kick and head defender - looks are not the top of my priority! They may not look like the leading Nike or Predatior boots but they have every right to be placed alongside them in terms of quality.
