I tried on several different makes and styles before deciding to buy a pair of Merrell Calia Goretex Ladies Hiking Shoes.
I have noticed on line that these are also available in a walking boot with the higher cuff around the ankle I am reviewing the hiking /walking shoes...

Advantages: Plenty to see in a fairly small area Disadvantages: B****y cold in winter - fuzzy knickers required
