...Well this is my review on an MG ZS 1.8 120
After having just got rid of my last car (VW Golf GT TDI) I decided it was time to get back in the MG Rover scene and to do just that I started my 4th car search. I eventually fell upon MG cars just because they had a sportier look and appeal. I was really drawn to the ZS but found they were a little pricy for me. After having just bought a VW Golf and spending a lot on it trying to make it good and selling it for a lot less I was a tad broke and ideally wasn?t looking to spend too much on my next car. A week passed and I got a bite, a big bite. 2002 MG ZS 1.8 120, Lemans Green, 53,000 miles and recently serviced including timing belt and head gasket repair. I really liked the colour which I thought looked fantastic and very different. I bought it and brought it home that day...

Review of MG ZS
Advantages: Sporty, sleek, zippy, excellant range of colours and add ons Disadvantages: Price - Just a wee bit expensive!
...2005 Version of the MG ZR+ 115 TD
My brother was lucky enough to have gotten an excellent deal with his employers, who agreed to pay part payment on a brand new car for him. Wish I had the opportunity like this, but it was to allow him to travel the some 200 mile round trip to work, as he was thinking of leaving to get a new job closer to home.
After trawling through quite a few garages before Christmas, I was drawn to the MG one, just to have a look! There were many models, but the one that caught my eye, was the MG ZR+, 115 Turbo Diesel 5 door. Perfect. It was a 5 door, so suitable for ?the family? i.e. his wife and child, and a zippy little thing which means I could drive it, as apposed to his last, massive Megane Saloon which was just way too big for me.
I also?helped? well pushed my brother to get my choice of colour...

Review of MG ZR
Advantages: None Disadvantages: Too many to list here
...okay here goes, bought my MG ZR 105 3 door brand new, and within 3 months this is what happened, tappets started banging, the inside door frames kept coming away from the doors, the gearstick handle came off, the cloth part of the fronts seats started wearing away, the front seat tilt mechanisim snapped on the passenger side, the left hand horn button was sunk into the steering wheel, and the steering wheel wasn\'t even aligned properly, had to hold the wheel 1 inch to the right in order to drive straight.
After a 1 year service by the very garage I bought it from, it started backfiring and took another 2 visits to fix, and the door trim problem again, and tappet problem again and the exhaust went at the coupling between the 2 back sections, 4 years on the car is falling apart, it is as though it was designed with the throw...

...to 19k for a ZT-T. Diesel or Petrol its entirely a preference of the consumer. My personal favorite is the ZR Diesel Turbo - which insidentaly gave BMW 1 series Diesel a view of its pipes and boot as it shaved 1.2 seconds from the 1 series equivelent diesel. Great fun, good looking, cheap running cost and since the demise of MG Rover Group... low priced low milage examples are readily available. Build quality is a let down. You dont get Germany build quality or Japanese reliability from MG but as my nan says, 'you get what ya pay for' Go on.... give it a try, you never know... you may love the Octagonal badged 'British' beauty....

Review of MG ZR
Advantages: superb Disadvantages: tyres cost a fortune
...I have never had a car that has attracted so much attention. It is a real stunner as far as looks go. Our local doctor was pretty upset that his new Mercedes was virtually ignored by the locals whereas my MG attracted quite a crowd.
The interior is a refreshing change from the doom and gloom of the Germans and just oozes class and style.
Seats hold you very snugly - which is just as well as I just love throwing it around corners - and yet are remarkably comfortable on long journeys.
bought this car after having owned two 3 Series as I wanted something a bit different and I have not been disappointed.
The ZT must be the best car I have ever owned. It is smooth, stylish, comfortable and distinctive. It manages to corner very flat yet still gives an acceptable ride. The Rover K series V6 sounds very classy too.
I have lost...

Review of MG ZT
Advantages: Cheap, looks good, performs well Disadvantages: dated interior, parts not produced in mass
...The MG ZR 105 was the first car I personally owned, opting to go for the + edition, it came with electric windows, sun roof, and central locking and on alloys as standard. So from the off it's a stylish little number with the goodies list continuing with half vinyl leather effect seats, digital dash, roof spoiler and a front splitter fitted too.
This is a 1.4 K series engine knocking out around 103bhp, a lot more than other 1.4's available on the second hand market including some of the vw golf range.
Overall the car is very attractive, available in MK1 and a facelift MK2 model, my bias would suggest that MK1 is more athstetically pleasing and indeed many would agree, those who own the facelift model likely would not.
The steering of the car is nice and if you give it enough throttle you'll feel a new lease of life in every...

Review of MG ZR 105
Advantages: Good fuel economy, excellent standard soundsystem Disadvantages: poor craftsmanship, known electrical issues
...the MG TF is a very stylish range. varied engine options and the ability to aquire models with full sports kits at a reasonable price.
As it stands in the line up of other 2 door sports cars, it will not hold first place. With poor electrical system and shoddy interior this car will not be at the top of the range.
However, it is a fast car, spacious cockpit with masses of leg room, the drivers seat is very low and is extremely comfortable on long journeys. The head room however is limited for the taller individual.
A standard clip roof is easy and light to move on and off, the seals on my model do not sit flush and in very heavy rain leaks a very little.
Under the bonet is enough space for a spare tyre, access to the bonet is done through the leaver in the boot. The boot has enough space for a few shopping bags but not...

Review of MG TF
Advantages: Stunning looks, good performance, decent spec, makes you make excuses just to go out and drive it Disadvantages: None
...I really dont know where to start on this one. When I first saw MGRover release this motor I knew I had to have one. In recent times I had bought classic cars including an MG Maestro and a Triumph TR7. I'd always liked my British cars but due to promotion at work I no longer had the time to spend working on older cars, nor could I be bothered with tinkering when I had been at work all day. It was time to by my first ever brand new one, and i couldn't have made a better choice.
I had always liked the zr and as I say i've always liked to buy british where I can so I popped down to my local dealers (Inchcape, Buron On Trent) one morning and had a word. I'd heard bad things about some MG Rover dealers so was pleasantly suprised with my local dealer. A very warm welcome was enjoyed and they'd be quite happy to let you browse...

Review of MG ZR
Advantages: Loads of Car for Very Little Money - Handles Like a Dream Disadvantages: The are not making any at the moment
...WOW is the only word I can think of to describe my new MG ZT. I have the 2.5v 6 160bhp 2002 model and what a car it is.
Even with the fact that MG and Rover have gone POP I would still recommend anyone to buy this car - if fact now is the best time to buy this car with the deals that are available.
Background
I have been a Hyundai girl through and through for the past 10 years. I have owned 4 different ones myself, my partner has one, my son has one and my father had one. I never thought anything would pull me away from them.
However, I was looking around for something slightly bigger than my Hyundai Coupe as I need to comfortably fit people in the back of my car and obviously couldn't in the coupe and I spotted an MG ZT driving past me on the motorway - it caught my eye straight away. I had been looking...

Review of MG ZT
Advantages: Good racing Disadvantages: Loosing popularity and Vauxhall keep dominating
...Cast your mind back to the year 2000. That fateful year when Rover fell lower than ever before - even lower than the Big Breakfasts viewing figures. But they were bought soon after for a measly amount of £10 - Damn, I could have bought it! - by the Phoenix consortium. They believed in plugging on with the current cars but bring in more features. Soon Rover was no more because that famous brand had become MG Rover.
After nearly a year of slaving away trying to save a dying company, MG burst back onto the sports scene with their first ever MG Le Mans racer. bearing the rather striking green and black livery the MG boys weren't there to mess around. Indeed they were the only cars entered in its class so they were bound to win their class. It wasn't all that simple though becuase the small roadster kept breaking down and the race...
