Review of Cube247 Pulsar

Pulsar 600 is OK but not recommended any more

Advantages: Fast enough for me, CD writer and also DVD very useful.
Disadvantages: Dixons have a poor image for after sales service.

...bought this computer in April 2001 as a replacement to the Tiny Computer that was now 3 years old. It shows how much things have progressed in Computer technology development, that it only cost half of what the Tiny Computer originally cost, and yet has 3 times the hard drive capacity (10 Gigabytes) twice the modem speed (56.6K) and 3 times the chip speed (600 MHz), that the 3 year old Tiny model had. I got the Pulsar 600 from Dixon’s and I was a bit cautious at first, as I have only really heard of the bad things that happen to their customers in the press, but I am happy to say, with reservations stated later, that I am VASTLY happier with the system than I ever was with the older Tiny Computer machine. Is it a bird, is it a plane or is it a GIMMICK?

Advantages: Comfortable, inexpensive, MicroPulse bristles
Disadvantages: Umm, umm, none!

...This is my third review Oral hygiene is important to most people, well it should be. Even my six-month-old niece has two toothbrushes and has her two teeth brushed twice each day. Personally I think this is slightly extreme, but then again when is the perfect time to start? Well, as early as possible I suppose, just when you have more than two teeth. My latest oral hygiene aid has been the Oral B Pulsar. I bought the toothbrush after seeing an advert (how sad I am, advertising works on me). It seemed to me that the ideas, which had inspired the technology within the Pulsar, were very good. According to the advert this toothbrush could out-clean any other manual toothbrush on the market; I wasn't overly convinced. ...Pulsar watches are very good. I bought a cheap silver one a little while go and it?s been really good ever since. It?s kept the time (which is a good thing for a watch to be able to do). It kept the time extremely, well in fact. These watches are only good when your friends don?t get you drunk and take advantage by makaing you give them your watch and turning up the next morning wearing it and rerfusing to give it back. Hmmmmmmmmm................

...In my family we use both electric toothbrushes and non electric ones and whilst in Sainsburys the other day came across the Oral B Pulsar battery operated brush. The thought popped into my head that 'I can combine both at the same time here' and before I knew it, I had put two of the £5.99 brushes into my trolley. On getting home I examined the brush. It has the normal toothbrush bristles, plus around the edge of these are the vibrating 'toothpicks'. The brush head is made up of two moveable sides that I think allows the toothpicks to vibrate, they do not seem to move back and forth themselves. On the brush handle you have two buttons, the top one turns it on and guess what, the bottom one turns it off!. You have to push the buttons quite firmly to turn them on and off, so there is no danger of accidentally turning the brush off...
