...This review is a complete re-write of my original pathetic attempt. Firstly the picture ciao has put at the top looks NOTHING like my little micra - not sure what it is but is in NOT a micra. I will put my own photos on so the actual car can be seen in all its cutness Hatchback - Front (FWD) - 5 Speed Manual Gearbox - 1386 cc - Max Speed:107 mph - 88 bhp - Unleaded Petrol I previously owned a micra 1.2 and loved its cute bug- eyed look and key-less ignition. I traded this for a 56 reg micra sport 1.6 without key less ignition. I really missed the key-less ignition but this would have cosy about £1000 extra and I didn't think it was worth that much more. With key-less ignition you have a square key that you have to keep somewhere on you or in your bag then there is a small button your press on the door handle to lock/unlock the car...

Review of Nissan Micra 1.4 16v

Nissan Micra

Advantages: The looks and the fuel type is amazing and the insurance group.
Disadvantages: Not that much safety and the comfort.

...Nissan Micra's come in a 1.0 litre hatchback they mostly come in 5 doors or 3 doors. The performance on the road is very nippy, 3/5 also the handling and the ride is quite the same. These Micra's are great insurance group is low fuel is great, on the otherhand the security isnt becuase some micras from 1994-1998 dont have any alarm or anything but ll models have plenty of airbags. The ownership is great buying and selling is easy and no hassle to sell these nippy motors are Quality & reliability many people gave the ownership a 4/5. These 1.0litre micras changed a lot from the 1900's till know there are over 100,000 micras know in the U.K. The looks of a micra is great thats what attracts people to buy these cars. 9/10 people voted that micras are good for first drivers....

  The girly guide to the Micra

Advantages: Cheaper on petrol, insurance and Road tax. Easier to park and get around town.
Disadvantages: Not as much space as a larger car, lacking in safety and security features.

Leatherman Micra - Usefull All Around The House

1991 Nissan Micra

Advantages: Cheap, Quick, Cost-effiecent

...This is a review based on a 988cc 1991 Nissan Micra GS. This car is very very decieving. Part of the deiciving is that the car looks like the back end of a bus, but nevermind its whats underneath that counts. - Engine - If you were to look at the spec's of this car it would be seen as a 988cc car. this alone would be cause for thinking it'd be slow and have a poor accelleration....wrong! I don't have the actual stats, but i have out performed from a starting position a brand new 1.3 Ford Fiesta! This quite a feat from a 10 year old car with a 988cc engine. The top speed i have managed to reach with this car is a astronmoical 110mph, although to the cars credit this was down hill with the wind behind me! ...I bought a second hand used Micra 1.0 two door/hatch saloon at the beginning of 2003. Colour Red , on a ?P? plate, with 34,000 miles on the clock; well looked after by its previous owners (2), and regularly serviced by a main Nissan dealership. The bodywork was in super condition for its age with no visible signs of deterioration, such as rust marks. My Micra has a one litre (998cc) engine with CVT (automatic transmission) rather than the more popular traditional manual gear box, which makes it stand out from the crowd. Still Some Mileage Left In The Old Micra Yet

Advantages: Japanese reliability. Cheap to insure and run. Easy to drive and park. A good "first car" for a young person.
Disadvantages: Somewhat staid image. Not too nippy.

Other nice little touches include a huge rear view mirror, allowing you to deal very effectively with those blind spots that can easily cause a nasty accident, a buzzer to warn you when you’re getting low on fuel, and night illumination for all the switches and controls, that makes them easier to find in the dark. A bad fault with older Micras was the simply awful bench-like seats, with their very uncomfortable flat cushions. These could play havoc with the old posterior, and were dreadful on a long journey.
