...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. ...The stereo is a micro hifi system with DAB radio. it features a sliding remote controlled door, sel/skip search up and down buttons. LCD display, play/pause button CD window, IR sensor, Prog/sel button AUX button standby indicator and standby button. Headphone jack, speaker terminals, volume buttons and side control. You can also set the timer so the radio comes on at a set time, which would be nice in a bedroom, say as an alarm clock, and also has a sleep funtion when using the remote control. excellent shelf system

Advantages: very cheap, excellent sound quality, really easy to use and set up
Disadvantages: only has one set of aux in jacks

...I took a risk and bought this at a car boot sale when me and the old man use to go every sunday. The guy I bought it off said it was virtually brand new (it looked it), and that it was a wonderful shelf system - the only reason he was selling it was that him and his girlfriend were moving in together and they had no need for two. I was looking forward to getting home and checking my new shelf system out - I didn't really know anything about the brand Aiwa, and have never ever seen this CD Player elsewhere. Advantages: great picture, great games.

...The Xbox 360 is a great representation of the next gen consoles. It has a sleek look that is customizable with faceplate skins if you so choose and it is able to be placed in the normal consol position or up on it's side. In the graphics department regardless of whether you are using regular component video cables or running it to an HD tv it looks amazing. I am a fan of war, fantasy and hockey games as well as things like Dead rising and Saints row, all of which look great just running on normal cables to the back of the tv, when on my big screen it looks even better. It surpasses the wii easily and is on par with PS3, the PS3 is better for textures where the xbox is a much better system for shading and shadows. Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. She's in the buggy part now which has three postions and harnesses which is great. Overall fab...

A sharp system at a micro price

Advantages: Inexpensive, decent output for a bedroom or smaller room, mp3 capability
Disadvantages: No good for a larger room due to the 5 watt output per speaker

...We bought the Graco Quattro Tour Travel System after looking at everything on the market comparing costs, accessories, weight etc. This travel system was for my first child so I had no previous experience to help me. The whole concept of the travel system is revolutionary; my mom was so impressed. Having the car seat/infant carrier which effectively turns the buggy into a pram and also means that your baby who has fallen asleep in the car can be effortlessly moved into the buggy, is a marvelous invention! We bought the Graco fro Babies R Us in January 2005 for £190. It came with an auto base, weather shield, foot muff and changing bag (the only thing I have had to buy additionally is a parasol). The autobase is a brilliant idea. You fix it in the car once and the infant carrier just clicks in place. No messing around...
