Advantages: Brilliant graphics, HDMI Output, Excellent Games Library, Xbox Live

...After hearing how good Microsoft's next-gen gaming console was, I decided to invest. And what a good choice that was. I purchased an Xbox 360 Elite last year and how glad I am that I did. Windows 7: Is what Microsoft is saying really true?

Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it.
Disadvantages: The Price. It looks like vista and it really is just a brush up on the old OS

...Windows 7 has been said by Microsoft as being much improved and everyone would be happy with the end result. But is it really better, below is my review of a few sections which I believe is most important and compare it to older versions. Speed: 9/10 Much faster than Vista. To compare with the Vista OS, on Vista it took around 30 secs to 45 secs to boot up and log me in. Now on Windows 7 it takes 20 - 30 secs to boot up. Shut down is also so much faster. Vista = 15 secs... Windows 7 = 5 secs..... So there is a huge improvement. Also when running programs or browsing the internet you feel like this Operating System is very smooth and just does what you want (most of the time) Program Compatablilty: 8/10 Most Programs that run on Vista will run on Windows 7 (32-bit) very well. Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite - Best console ever made!

Advantages: Looks good/Good storage/Great games/Great graphics/can play films and videos/music/lots lots more.
Disadvantages: Very expensive accesories, especially the wireless adaptor

...the reason why I never even considered the PS3 when I was choosing my next-gen console, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that I would never get to play such games as Halo3 or Fable. The xbox live marketrplace is a great feature, it alows you to download themes, demos movie trailers,game trailers and even whole movies. Ofcourse some of this will come at a cost, which in most cases is a complete rip off if you are only buying things such as gamer pictures. This is the only real problem with the xbox 360, the price of the accesories :S. As with many things, microsoft liek to charge excessive prices for simple accesories and force you to buy their £60 versions by mnaking the cheaper ones not work. Another Powerhouse From Microsoft.

Advantages: Great Game Library, Incredible Graphics and Great Online.
Disadvantages: Odd Design and is Incredibly Loud for a Console

In my reviews for consoles, i usually review four categories, Controllers, Graphics, Multiplayer/Online, and Game Library (thus far) but for the 360 and my later review on the PS3, i'll also be reviewing the consoles Design. The design of the 360 is much like the original Xbox, odd. The original Xbox was a bulky black box and weighed more then two PS2's combined. The 360 isn't necessarily as big but it's just as odd with an unusual curved square shape. The 360 is also a pretty noisy system. Microsoft Office Home and Student 2007, slow but perfect.

Advantages: New look, good for beginners, easy to instal, more professional tools
Disadvantages: Slower then the old one, hard to find sertain things in the new menus

...going through the menus. I was amazed on how much you could do with it. The only downside of this new menu style is that some of the things i was used to lookup in the much faster menus are now devided, and some times hard to find. Other then that, i like the new way microsoft has turned with this office. Keep it up!...
