A Cute Little Mouse! (Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 4000)

...The Microsoft wireless mouse 4000 is quite an old model, although it still is available and would be the one I'd go for over others, having had two other Microsoft wireless mice and found this model to be the best of the three. The 4000 is a wireless mouse that's about 4 inches in length and about 2 inches in width. It connects to the laptop or computer via a dongle that plugs into one of the USB ports. The dongle itself is about 2 inches long and when not in use, it clicks into a space on the underside of the mouse. The dongle is very secure under there. My mouse is carried around in a laptop bag when it's not in use and it's never popped out of its holder once. Performance-wise it's a good sturdy mouse. Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000 - Great portable mouse

Advantages: responsive, great battery life, very portable
Disadvantages: a bit small

...I have been using Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000 for a little over a month now and so far it has proved to be the perfect companion for my netbook computer. The mouse comes with a wireless dongle as well as a single triple A battery. The mouse also has a place under the battery cover where the wireless USB dongle can be stored, thus making it harder to loose when you are carrying the mouse around. Responsiveness- The mouse is very responsive on many surfaces (even on the carpet!) and has a dpi of 1000, so should be suitable for everyday general use. Robustness & durability- The mouse has a fairly solid feel to it and has and ideal weight for its size. I then remembered I had this mouse and after rummaging around in several boxes I found it. At first I had no idea how to use it, but after looking through the manual I realised it was a pretty basic USB connected mouse (wireless). After plugging the receiver in and connecting it (which didn't take long at all) I was away.
