A Cute Little Mouse! (Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse 4000)

Advantages: Easy to connect, easy to store, easy to use

...The Microsoft wireless mouse 4000 is quite an old model, although it still is available and would be the one I'd go for over others, having had two other Microsoft wireless mice and found this model to be the best of the three. The 4000 is a wireless mouse that's about 4 inches in length and about 2 inches in width. It connects to the laptop or computer via a dongle that plugs into one of the USB ports. The dongle itself is about 2 inches long and when not in use, it clicks into a space on the underside of the mouse. The dongle is very secure under there. My mouse is carried around in a laptop bag when it's not in use and it's never popped out of its holder once. Performance-wise it's a good sturdy mouse.   AN EXCELLENT OPTICAL MOUSE

Advantages: Great response, no ball to get dirty, wheel is invaluable
Disadvantages: A bit on the pricey side

Then when you move the mouse back and forth, the ball moves too, and this is picked up by rollers that are in contact with the ball inside the mouse mechanism. There are two problems with this ? firstly the mouse relies on moving parts. The rollers and springs inside the plastic case don?t last forever, leading to rubbish performance from the mouse. The second problem is dust and dirt. It?s amazing how quickly it builds up inside the cavity where the mouse ball sits in normal operation, and unless you clean it out very regally, the pointer will not move evenly across the screen as you use the mouse. So, Microsoft being the innovative and creative (ha!) people that they are, they have come up with the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical, available almost everywhere for about 25 quid. OK, lets looks...

hello kitty optical mouse

Advantages: keeps up with quick movements, generous wire length, cute and ace looking.
Disadvantages: mine probably isn't made by sanrio

...Design The design is hello kitty's head and bow, I have only ever seen this in one colour and that is the traditional white with red bow but after doing some research this comes in white with a light pink bow and white with a diamanté pink style but I am still happy with my red hello kitty mouse. The head has the face ears and the bow which is very cute. The USB wire is the same colour as the bow, so my wire is red. The buttons are located in the bow. The USB wire is quite long considering I have just switched my mouse to round the back of my computer desk and back through the front because the length of the wire is to long and it's annoying but it is also a great thing it being that long.
