Advantages: looks good, they have ironed out little 'niggles'
Disadvantages: none really, probably price!

Xbox 360, the whole package

Advantages: Easy to use, easy to get online, high quality graphics, wide spread of games
Disadvantages: High cost extras which should potentially be included

...As an avid user of the Xbox 360 both in the offline and on-line format (Xbox live) i've come to see the good things and the less so. First of all the Xbox 360 is at this time the most complete gaming system on offer, in terms of quality of gameplay, games and ease of set-up. From my personal experience it is simple to plug straight into Xbox live with the online purchase of the service. However this brings me to my first of only a few negatives, as is so often the case with microsoft, the extras aren't built in and they don't come cheap; many internet users now have wireless connections and in order to run Xbox live through the wireless a special adapter must be bought costing in the region of £60 which is dissapointing when you consider the Nintendo Wii has a built in Wireless adapter. Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite - Best console ever made!

Advantages: Looks good/Good storage/Great games/Great graphics/can play films and videos/music/lots lots more.
Disadvantages: Very expensive accesories, especially the wireless adaptor

...the reason why I never even considered the PS3 when I was choosing my next-gen console, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that I would never get to play such games as Halo3 or Fable. The xbox live marketrplace is a great feature, it alows you to download themes, demos movie trailers,game trailers and even whole movies. Ofcourse some of this will come at a cost, which in most cases is a complete rip off if you are only buying things such as gamer pictures. This is the only real problem with the xbox 360, the price of the accesories :S. As with many things, microsoft liek to charge excessive prices for simple accesories and force you to buy their £60 versions by mnaking the cheaper ones not work. Windows 7: Is what Microsoft is saying really true?

Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it.
Disadvantages: The Price. It looks like vista and it really is just a brush up on the old OS

But is it really better, below is my review of a few sections which I believe is most important and compare it to older versions. Speed: 9/10 Much faster than Vista. To compare with the Vista OS, on Vista it took around 30 secs to 45 secs to boot up and log me in. Now on Windows 7 it takes 20 - 30 secs to boot up. Shut down is also so much faster. Vista = 15 secs... Windows 7 = 5 secs..... So there is a huge improvement. Also when running programs or browsing the internet you feel like this Operating System is very smooth and just does what you want (most of the time) Program Compatablilty: 8/10 Most Programs that run on Vista will run on Windows 7 (32-bit) very well. Upgrade Immidiately to MS Windows XP Professional

Advantages: Easy booting, less crashes, much faster and yes user friendly
Disadvantages: Dual boot becomes a problem

...all the OS is very software friendly. Even system crashes is far less frequent with Windows XP Professional. It has overcome the unfriendly interface woes of Windows 2000. The best of it is that disk partitioning and formatting the HD has become much more easier with XP which means in case your OS gives you problem, even a reasonably eloquent user can reload or even format or partition the hard disk just by reading the massages properly, in fact the option for formatting individual drives are there. The backup option is great. Create a back up of your files and remove all the partitions then format and recreate your disk partitions to your requirements.
