Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite - Best console ever made!
Advantages: Looks good/Good storage/Great games/Great graphics/can play films and videos/music/lots lots more.
Disadvantages: Very expensive accesories, especially the wireless adaptor
...the reason why I never even considered the PS3 when I was choosing my next-gen console, I wouldn't be able to sleep at night knowing that I would never get to play such games as Halo3 or Fable.
The xbox live marketrplace is a great feature, it alows you to download themes, demos movie trailers, game trailers and even whole movies. Ofcourse some of this will come at a cost, which in most cases is a complete rip off if you are only buying things such as gamer pictures.
This is the only real problem with the xbox 360, the price of the accesories :S. As with many things, microsoft liek to charge excessive prices for simple accesories and force you to buy their £60 versions by mnaking the cheaper ones not work.
Aside from the accesory prices though The xbox 360 Elite is the greatest console out and I highly reccomend it, o and I forgot to...

Microsoft Xbox 360 Elite - The User's Review
Advantages: Brilliant graphics, HDMI Output, Excellent Games Library, Xbox Live
Disadvantages: Expensive Games, Xbox Live Fee, Lack of Blu-Ray, Hardware Errors
...After hearing how good Microsoft's next-gen gaming console was, I decided to invest. And what a good choice that was. I purchased an Xbox 360 Elite last year and how glad I am that I did.
Pro's:
- Powerful graphic engine
- Brilliant display at 1080p Full-HD (HDMI)
- Brilliant line-up of games
- Excellent online (Xbox Live) system
Con's:
- Games pricey at £40-50 each*
- Xbox Live Subscription at £40 per year**
- Lack of a Blu-Ray drive unlike its competitor, Sony PlayStation 3***
- Prone to crashes and hardware errors****
*New games are hard to find at prices lower than £40, which is a lot of money on top of what you pay for the console itself
**Xbox Live is a very good service offering a full friends messaging system and a wide range of services such as Game Demo's and Arcade games but considering the Nintendo Wii...

Xbox 360 Elite console is designing the future of gaming!!
Advantages: Huge selection of Exclusives unavalible of other consoles and Xbox Live
Disadvantages: The dreaded read ring of death, paying for Xbox live
...Xbox 360 Elite Console
Now i'm sure you don't want to know why you should buy this console, but instead why you should buy this console over the Wii or Playstation 3. Now I truely believe that nowadays everyone should own some sort of gaming console, because you don't know what your missing if you don't. It has everything you could possibly want from a console and Microsoft are continuously updateing the experience through Xbox Live and new features soon to be released.
Firstly, the Xbox 360 console has a huge variety of exclusives to its vast array of games. An eclusive is a game that is only one the Xbox 360 and no other console has. The Xbox in my opinion has the greatest list of Exclusives ranging from Halo 3 and Gears of War 1 & 2 to Fallout 3 and Forza Motorsport 3, as well as the huge collection on multiple consoles such...

The basics
The Microsoft Xbox 360 is the successor of Xbox video game console. It is a direct competitor of other leading seventh generation console such as Nintendo Wii and Playstation 3. It comes in three versions namely Arcade, Premium and Elie; each having its own features and accessories. The development of this gadget is in cooperation with IBM, Sis and ATI.
The Good
The Xbox 360 boasts a huge library of games, with several essentials titles in every conceivable genre. The crisp HD graphics are eye-poppingly impressive - even more so than on the supposedly more powerful PS3 - while 5.1 surround sound is...

Xbox 360 elite
Advantages: Large hard drive, HD 1080p and HDMI cables
Disadvantages: Small handheld controller
...on Xbox LIVE.
Xbox 360 HDMI cable:
The HDMI lets you get HD video (up to 1080p) and multichannel surround sound, all from one cable. This is what HDMI cables were designed for with their 'gas' technology' as long as you are able to produce 1080p full HD. With the Xbox 360 elite this is true.
Xbox LIVE Silver Membership and subscription to Xbox LIVE Gold are additional features which allow more virtual world scenarios and other further experiences, naturally with a small fee.
All in all this is as the name suggests 'elite' in the game console market, and certainly the best Microsoft has to offer. The games run smoothly and you really do have alot of storage space. So if you are after really good console with all the works and price is not an issue, then this would naturally be a good choice. Moreover, I would recommend...

Xbox 360 Elite
Advantages: Powerfull
Disadvantages: Erm....... None!
...Power is the first thing that comes to mind when i think of the xbox 360 elite, it has a huge 120GB hard disk drive and the graphics seem to run alot smoother that the original xbox 360 for some reason. I had the original xbox 360 but that died on me about 2 weeks after buying, microsoft seem to have sorted out these little issues that kept crashing the system. The elite has a HDMI port which means you can connect this straght into your HD socket on your tv, I have a 42 inch plasma and i thought the graphics was good on my old Xbox 360 through a scart lead but once i plugged this in i was blown away! The graphics are amazing, perfect detail can be seen on the games that you play. You get the HDMI cable with this system too which is just great as they are quite exspensive to buy, you also get one black wirless controller and a headset...

Xbox 360 Elite - Good Enough
Advantages: * Greater Memory Capacity * Enhanced sound and graphics capabilities * Sleek black finish
Disadvantages: * Red Ring Returns * Fan Overheats
...In my opinion, the Xbox 360 elite is the complete package when it comes to entertainment. However, when you pay in the region of £200 plus for any console you expect a flawless system, this is not the case with the Xbox 360 Elite.
The first noticeable difference from Microsofts first installement in the 360 series is the colour. The new polished black matte finish is definately a striking feature and this itself sets it apart from its predecessors.
On a more internal note the gaming system has been improved to support higher graphical and sound capabilities and the hardrive has been expanded so users can potentially store 120gb worth of photos, music, films and games.
While the games that can be bought for the 360 are normally a spectacle on their own, nothing compares to the online LIVE feature that was present on the original...

Xbox 360 Elite
Advantages: Large 120GB Hard Drive, HDMI, Excellent online service
Disadvantages: Noisy at times, runs hot
...I have previously owned two Xbox 360 Premium consoles in the past. I decided to purchase again with the release of Halo 3. Overall I\'m very happy with the Elite. Its main advantage over the Premium is the larger 120GB hard drive. Compared to buying a console and the larger hard drive it represents good value for money. If you want to download lots of demos and not have to worry about lack of space then the bigger drive is definitely worth it. If you just want HDMI then that should now be available on the Premium console.
Another thing that I have found with the past two consoles that I have owned run rather loud. The Elite seems to be slightly less noisy but this still depends on what DVD drive you get in your system. Unfortunately it is down to luck which one you\'ll get. You can identify the DVD drive manufacturer but this would be...

XBOX 360 - welcome to the (games)revolution
Advantages: Fantastic graphics, comfortable and solid controler, excellent online features
Disadvantages: Noisy, expensive games, hard disk could be bigger, wireless is a battery hog!
...Microsoft worked hard to crack the video games market with it's original XBOX, but never quite made it. Over 20 million were sold, but it was big and expensive for them to make. With Sony's impending Playstation sequel, Microsoft had to act fast.
In brief, the XBOX was essentially a Custom designed PC with a fast graphics system, whereas the 360 was designed from the ground up with games in mind.
From the custom CPU to the custom graphics chip, everything has been designed to get the most out of the least.
Armed with a Tri-core PowerPC CPU, running at 3.2 ghz, it can run 6 program threads at once. This essentially means that it has 3 PowerPC cores doing 2 things at once each... not bad for gaming!
Then there's the Xeons Graphics GPU from ATI, designed especially for Microsoft using a 'Unified Shaders' system for rendering...

Xbox 360 Elite - It covers all angles!
Advantages: Faster, Larger Memory, More Games, Fantastic Online System, Looks Stunning
Disadvantages: Slightly noisy when watching a dvd, will asorb you into a long life of gaming.
...A step above the Xbox 360 Pro and so much better than any other console for a number of reasons.
First things first, why is it better then any other console like the PS3 and the Wii? Well the Wii is more of a novelty device, I only ever use mine if there are couple of friends around and need to play something that is not too strenous on the mind. Great for party gaming with a few beers and mates but nothing solid enough for long term gaming.
The PS3 has many arguments going for it as it does have fantastic graphics but thats about it, there are a couple of exclusive games for it but nothing on the Elite again. It has the same controllers as before and could heat your house with the amount of warmth it gives off when on.
But I digress.... The 360 Elite is the review.... and it rocks in everyway possible. The controllers are...
