Xbox 360 Wireless Controller - Best thing

...I have recently become quite a gamer, and the console mainly used in our house is the xbox 360 as I bought my boyfriend one for christmas a couple of years ago. This came with a white, wireless controller. I love the fact that the controller is wireless as this allows me to sit anywhere I like when playing a game, instead of only being allowed so far away from the console if I was using a wired one. I play for longer when I am more comfortable, although this may not be such a good thing lol. The wireless controller even allows you to turn the xbox 360 on from across the room, or as I found out, from my bathroom! I don't even need to touch the xbox 360 to turn it on. At first, I found the controller quite chunky and hard to manage, as I had been used to playstation controllers which are quite slim and light in comparison to these. I...

Disadvantages: they wear out after 4 or so years!

...Hi this is an ideal bit of kit if: 1: your console came with a wired controller or 2: You need an extra controller In my opinion the xbox 360 has the best controller of any console. The size is absolutely perfect for me and the layout of the analogue sticks is spot on. The controller has pressure responsive buttons so you can do various moves or accelerate/brake at different rates in games and has a guide button right in the middle which is an unbelieveably useful button for 2 reasons: 1 - it will turn your console on and off without having to get up out of your seat! 2 - You can access the xbox 360 dashboard from one simple press and harness the full functionality of your xbox from it. As I said before I think this is a must buy. It is extremely comfortable. The range is atleast 15 feet, obviously being wire free...

Fantastic 360/PC Pad!

Advantages: Great layout, comfortable and easy to use.
Disadvantages: Confusing marketing, crappy D-pad. (wires)

The 360 pad is also usable on your PC without any additional hardware, just plug it in, download the drivers off the Microsoft site and you can use it in many games, most Games For Windows support this controller straight away even changing the button names in the game so for example it will say "press A to continue" instead of "press enter". Issues The controller does look slightly worse than the wireless pad, the grey band on the bottom of the controller is a shiny silver on the wireless variation and the analogue sticks feel like they're made from a cheaper plastic. The quality of the buttons is good apart from the D-pad which is dreadful and unresponsive often failing to recognize diagonal presses. This issue...
