Miele Fridge Freezer
Advantages: Freezer compartment does not frost over like other freezers do
Disadvantages: Fridge, however, does tend to frost over quite a lot at the back. Quite noisy
...We bought this fridge freezer when we moved house last year, to replace a Siemens one, which we sold with the house. We liked the Miele brand, and we also liked the good size of the fridge and freezer, plus the style and colour of the door handles.
We like the drawers in the freezer compartment, which unlike our last fridge freezer, make it easy to store food separately, and find food again easily.
The fridge is a good size and because it is at the top, we found this better than the other one we had, where the freezer compartment was at the top. Since you use the fridge more regularly, it makes sense for it to be at the top so there is less bending required.
We like the digital display for turning the fridge and freezers up and down. There is also an alarm which sounds either when the door has been open too long (can be...

Miele S5281: Don't make a Miele of the housework
Advantages: Specialist cleaning, well made and reliable
Disadvantages: None
...Well, my rubbish old vacuum eventually kicked the bucket so it was time for me to rush out and buy (well, add to my credit card) my beautiful new Miele vacuum having heard rave reviews about them from friends.
I checked the which guide and other review sites and found that they were rated very highly which confirmed my choice of make and that just left the model to choose. I decided on the S5281 as it seemed a good, powerful, all-rounder. Then came the hunt to find the best price or deal, having not spent any money for while since having a baby I thought that a purchase of nearly £200 online would guarantee me some good discount, cashback or loyalty points.
I found the vacuum for between £195 and £200 in many places and also found it in Argos for £175 - same model number but a slightly different name. I was a bit suspicious so...

Miele (not another hoover)
Advantages: reliable,dependale
Disadvantages: bag fills to quickly,
...After buying 3 dysons and all 3 not lasting longer than 4 mths i decided to try a different make. What with having 2 dogs 1 a german shepherd what sheds hair like there is no tomorrow, the other luckily a short haired mongrel, but when she sheds she looses buckets full, plus 2 girls who dont care were they drop there wrappers and rubbish, we decided on the Miele cat and dog hoover.
This is a cylinder hoover with a bright red and black casing. It has moveable castors for easy moving, a handle for carrying, The accesories are easily stored within the body, an dusting brush, upholstery nozzle, crevize nozzle. It is powerful with a completely sealed system. It has a great air flow, for every type of carpet or floor surface. They are equipped with speed controls with different speeds, 300,500, 700, 900, 1200,
1600, the 1600 is great...

My Miele is a pearl of a cleaner
Advantages: Quiet, easy to use, very good suction
Disadvantages: bagged
...A couple of months ago there was a lot of singing and dancing around the house when my horrible, useless Dyson Animal vacuum cleaner decided it had had enough. Even before this happened I had already decided I wanted a Miele Cat and Dog to replace the stupid thing, so the next day we set off in search of checking out the cleaners in the local shops. We visited Comet as this is the nearest largest retailer near us.
I headed straight to the Miele Cat and Dog, which was around £200.00, Darren, my husband had a play to make sure it would built properly, (anything to get out of paying a lot of money) he then noticed a Miele that was on offer. We compared both the Cat and Dog with the Red Pearl and they both seemed to have exactly the same power and attachments, in fact they looked exactly the same except the Red Pearl was £30...

Make mine a Miele
Advantages: Small with a powerful motor
Disadvantages: Expensive
...Miele S4510 Vacuum Cleaner
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With the demise of our unloved Dyson we found ourselves in need of a replacement vacuum cleaner. Having bought the Dyson in a fit of suburban snobbery some five years ago we had initially been very pleased with its performance. Within a year, however, its effectiveness began to reduce and slowly deteriorated over time until recently it became increasingly unable to clean anything like efficiently. When it finally gave up the ghost we began the search.
The first problem is choice. There are a huge number of vacuum cleaners around from a multitude of big name manufacturers and the variety of machines on offer is bewildering. Do you want upright or cylinder? Wet or dry, with a bag or bagless (debagged?). Vacuum cleaners are a boring necessity of domestic life, unloved they are...
Miele S712 (pet version)
Advantages: Powerful suction, hygenic and quiet.
Disadvantages: Not widely available.
...After having a Dyson for nearly eight years, we bought this vacuum cleaner.
The reason for this?
The Dyson proved to be rather fragile and unreliable and had many repairs over it's life, after the bottom part began to crack we decided it was time for a new vacuum cleaner. The actual cleaning performance of the Dyson was not at all that bad, it was just that it was too fragile, unreliable and rather messy to empty.
Purchase
We went to our local Currys store and had a look at a few machines, the initial plan was to get the cheapest Miele cylinder (Miele S380) and use it exclusively for upstairs and then we would get the new Miele upright for downstairs. We were very close to buying the Miele S380 when the Miele S712 caught my eye; it was not so expensive and it had a turbobrush which is always a bonus. The Miele S380 was 96 pounds...
Miele for me! Microwave M8151
Advantages: Quick Start function/Grill/Variable Power and Grill levels/2 Year Guarantee
Disadvantages: I can't really find any disadvantages.
...Most of all I want to recommend Miele. They supplied me with this built in microwave at a large discount to help me out when the AEG microwave (MCD1751E) I had originally purchased, which was still within its guarantee period broke and AEG were unable to fix it or supply me with a new microwave/grill to sit in the built in cupboard which had been specifically hand made for it. The care and level of service received by me from Miele will ensure that from now on it will only be Miele for me. My mother owns a Miele automatic washing machine and she has had it for 24 years, so I think the brand name speaks for itself. You are getting quality and good back up service, both of which are equally important to me.
The microwave is easy to use, and I like the quick start function that allows you to microwave something for 30/60/90 seconds...
Fantastic Miele Cat & Dog Hoover !
Advantages: Powerful..Easyand light to use . Worth every penny for the easy housework !
Disadvantages: The Miele hoover bags i think are a little on the expensive side ..
...I have owned my Miele cat & dog hoover now for 3 weeks . I have run my own house now for 30 years and have owned a few hoovers in that time and have cursed and sworn and each and every one of them ! One was way to heavy and bulky to use on the stairs ( upright Hoover ), another could'nt even suck the fluff off the carpet ( vax hoover ) . I have even owned a Dyson , which i paid good money for and it worked brilliantly for the first few months , then it just seemed to lessen in power and eventually it was used for cleaning the car only. I then was reduced to sweeping the carpets with a broom !
Then my daughter bought a Miele cat and dog hoover because she has 5 dogs and cat . I watched with an open mouth and this little light weight red hoover ran across her living room carpet and left a completely clean stripe behind it !
I had to...
Clean up with Miele S 380
Advantages: Quiet running & easy to use
Disadvantages: Not up to tougher cleaning
...Review of Miele S 380 cleaner
This is a bagged vacuum cleaner from the manufacturer, Miele. The Ciao photograph shows the product in red however my own is 'Bahama Blue'. I purchased mine to replace a cylinder style cleaner that I use for my static caravan.
**The product**
The vacuum cleaner is a fairly basic model, it does not come with many attachments, i.e. No pet hair brush, or fragrance pocket for those little air fresheners. The cleaner is fairly quiet running in comparison to my upright cleaner (Dyson) which I use at home. It is ideal for carpeted floors, but I have to admit that I do not find it particularly efficient on longer piled carpets as it is hard work to manoever over anything other than a medium thickness carpet. The cleaner is useful for quick clean ups, when you just want a rapid tidy up rather than a full...
Miele realy are miles better
Advantages: excellent build quiet reliable
Disadvantages: initial outlay
...Our latest addition to the kitchen was a new Miele W360 washing machine. the last washing machine we had was a Zanussi Washer/dryer and after 6 years it was no longer economical to repair needing a new timer at a cost of £113.00 plus fitting the best part of a new machine! We looked arround at various machines but kept finding that the attention to detail on all the Miele machines could not be matched by any of the other manufacturers. In the end would got an excellent deal on the Miele with free delivery!
The first thing I noticed about the machine was the quality. For starters it was solid and no amount of moving it damaged the excellent finish you only had to look at the Zanussi and the enamel would come off! The machine is fully programeable and very quiet a bonus when I'm on a night shift! The machine also shows the time...
