Miele W1613 Washing Machine

Advantages: Quiet, Water and Energy Saving Features, Easy To Use
Disadvantages: Very Heavy, Expensive to Buy.

...We have recently become the proud owners of a Miele W1613 washing machine. It has all the usual programmes with some added options. The express programme completes a wash in 30 minutes at 40C. It washes whites perfectly at 60C. Water and energy consumption are determined by the size of the load so when smaller amounts of laundry are washed the automatic load recognition system reduces the amount of water, time and energy used. The machine is extremely quiet and very easy to use, the estimated programme duration appears in the digital display which counts down to let you know visibly when the cycle will finish (which can be disabled to save energy) there is also the option of a buzzer which sounds when the machine has finished its wash. Miele W3824 - Simply Excellent

...We needed a new washing machine after our AEG machine had gone wrong after only 18 months. We were messed about for two weeks while they tried to fix it but in the end we decided we couldn?t take any more. We went to John Lewis and looked at all the machines and read all information we could find and in the end decided to buy the Miele 3824. While it was at the top end, if not beyond what we wanted to pay the quality and security we got from the 10 year parts and labour warranty made it worth while. We went into the store and ordered it on a Thursday and they arranged a special delivery for Saturday morning. It took one delivery driver to wheel out the old AEG but two of them with some skill to wheel in the Miele. Out of all the machines we looked at these are the best built and very solid. Get Excited About Washers

The reason for this is because they last a long, a very long time and if, like me, you hate shopping for boring household appliances then you?ll love Miele for this reason alone. So when disaster stuck one evening in the form of a leaking toilet, collapsed ceiling (part thereof) and a partly rubble covered washer, boy was I pleased that I?d taken up the offer of 10 months for the price of 12 home insurance. Miele S5281: Don't make a Miele of the housework

Advantages: Specialist cleaning, well made and reliable

...on hard floors so I suppose lugging the extra floorhead round with me to swap between rooms is the price I pay for specialised cleaning. I'm not sure what weight the vacuum is but it feels much the same as what I am used to. It has a long cable and the body moves around really easily when you're using the vacuum. There are 6 different suction settings, ranging from minimum which is suitable for light furnishings to maximum which is what I use on the carpets. The laminate floors I use a medium energy-saving, everyday use setting which also happens to be very quiet, such a low-level in fact that you can hold a conversation with the person vacuuming from across the room without shouting. I'm very, very happy with my Miele S5281. You have to take your vacuuming seriously to pay this amount for a vacuum but I think you can really see...

Miele are a German Company who manufacture good quality home appliances and was founded in 1899, they have a UK office and warehouse in Abingdon. The Cleaner. The Red Pearl is a cylinder cleaner and is a lovely Burgundy colour with black and silver highlights and is made of rigid plastic. The measurements are approx. 27cm across, approx. 48cm long including the carry handle and approx. 20cm deep. The machine weighs approx. 18lb (8.5 kilo). It has a silver flexible pipe approx. 170cm long with a metal telescopic pipe 65cm long, 104cm fully extended with a plastic curved rigid pipe of approx. 38cm connecting the flexible and metal pipe together. MIELE, MIELE, MIELE, OI OI OI

...Well I never thought I would find myself being all enthusiastic about a washing machine! I would hardly describe myself as a domestic goddess! Although this machine is incredibly expensive (mine cost approx £700, I would say the 10 year guarantee is worth that on it's own!) it is absolutely worth the money, in my opinion. After having nothing but trouble with Hotpoint machines (not to mention their stroppy engineers) I decided to invest in a Miele. WHAT AN INVESTMENT! Having 3 children my washing machine gets a massive amount of use which is no problem for the Miele. The noise that comes from the machine is so minimal that if it wasn't for my youngest son standing in front of the machine circling his head round along with the drum I would forget it was on. Gone are the days of my machine hopping it's way along...
