Miele W1613 Washing Machine

Advantages: Quiet, Water and Energy Saving Features, Easy To Use
Disadvantages: Very Heavy, Expensive to Buy.

...We have recently become the proud owners of a Miele W1613 washing machine. It has all the usual programmes with some added options. The express programme completes a wash in 30 minutes at 40C. It washes whites perfectly at 60C. Water and energy consumption are determined by the size of the load so when smaller amounts of laundry are washed the automatic load recognition system reduces the amount of water, time and energy used. The machine is extremely quiet and very easy to use, the estimated programme duration appears in the digital display which counts down to let you know visibly when the cycle will finish (which can be disabled to save energy) there is also the option of a buzzer which sounds when the machine has finished its wash. This machine has no faults that I can see from a performance point of view but it is very heavy...

Miele The Quietest Washing Machine Ever

Advantages: Very quiet, very simple, very effective
Disadvantages: Heavy

...I never used to see the point of expensive washing machines and just thought more money bought you a load of extra programmes which you never actually used. I now understand the point and that is quietness. Because our new machine was going in a new utility room under the stairs (and next to the sitting room) quietness was really important - especially as our toddler generates much more washing than her size would indicate so it's on most of the time. I didn't believe there was such a thing as a quiet washing machine but Miele is it. On top of that, it cleans really well and is simple to use so you do get the benefit of the variety of programmes on offer. The only downside of quietness is that the machine is incredibly heavy so you need 3 men to lift it!...

Get Excited About Washers

...I dislike washers but I like Miele washers. The reason for this is because they last a long, a very long time and if, like me, you hate shopping for boring household appliances then you?ll love Miele for this reason alone. So when disaster stuck one evening in the form of a leaking toilet, collapsed ceiling (part thereof) and a partly rubble covered washer, boy was I pleased that I?d taken up the offer of 10 months for the price of 12 home insurance. So, my 8 year old Miele washer, which had harmed no one and done a cracking good job for me was no more. The insurance allowed me a like for like washer and of course I chose another Miele, but, the all singing all dancing *new* version, which in all honesty was more expensive but on par with my old machine on specification. £790 eek!! That?s a lot of money for a washer!! I remember...

Miele Dishwasher - Quiet and Efficient

Advantages: Very Quiet, Efficient, Economical, Cleaning Options to Suit All Loads, Fantastic Cleaning Ability, Timer Delay
Disadvantages: More expensive to buy initially - but worth every penny !

...This dishwasher is really superb. I have had Zanussi dishwashers for the last 15 years and been fairly happy with them. Owning the Miele has made me realise what I could have had for all these years! My crockery, cutlery and pots & pans have never been so clean and in good condition after a dishwasher cycle before. They all seem to have been given a new lease of life and they look almost new again. I have challenged the dishwasher with some baked on oven trays and it cleaned them easily. I have complete control over the programme cycles. The timer delay allows for cheap rate usage at night with the benefit of the quietest machine I have ever heard. We do not get disturbed in the night at all. The functions for using 3-in-1 tabs etc, cuts the amount used in the dishwasher cycle and saves money on salts and rinse aids...

...Most of all I want to recommend Miele. They supplied me with this built in microwave at a large discount to help me out when the AEG microwave (MCD1751E) I had originally purchased, which was still within its guarantee period broke and AEG were unable to fix it or supply me with a new microwave/grill to sit in the built in cupboard which had been specifically hand made for it. The care and level of service received by me from Miele will ensure that from now on it will only be Miele for me. My mother owns a Miele automatic washing machine and she has had it for 24 years, so I think the brand name speaks for itself. You are getting quality and good back up service, both of which are equally important to me. The microwave is easy to use, and I like the quick start function that allows you to microwave something for 30/60/90 seconds...

  My Miele is a pearl of a cleaner

...Our latest addition to the kitchen was a new Miele W360 washing machine. the last washing machine we had was a Zanussi Washer/dryer and after 6 years it was no longer economical to repair needing a new timer at a cost of £113.00 plus fitting the best part of a new machine! We looked arround at various machines but kept finding that the attention to detail on all the Miele machines could not be matched by any of the other manufacturers. In the end would got an excellent deal on the Miele with free delivery! The first thing I noticed about the machine was the quality. For starters it was solid and no amount of moving it damaged the excellent finish you only had to look at the Zanussi and the enamel would come off!
