Review of Milan in general

Somewhere to buy leotards from

Advantages: the only UK site I found
Disadvantages: main page is dull

...Did you know that you cannot buy leotards in a sport shop?! I have hunted and hunted for a site and have finally found Milano.co.uk They have a very wide range of leotards and although they may seem expensive, if you have a child doing gymnastics you will know that it involve expense and the range of gymnastics clothing from Milano is very good quality. I found that if you want a catalogue then phone them, don't email them as they take too long (either that or the bloke in charge of passing on the requests is a bit slow). The site is a bit bland but the on-line catalogue is definately a winner....

Review of Gymnastics - General

Politically incorrect and loud

Advantages: Excellent cross-over that pissed people off
Disadvantages: Some tracks are too short and just appear as a joke

...Too many people look into the lyrics of the band and sneer with a grumpy pc face, in fact their lyrics are nothing compared to Billy Milano's later band M.O.D. Including a Jewish guitarist (Anthrax's Scott Ian), a tubby Italian (Milano on vocals) amongst them, I think we can safely say they had no intent when playing bassist and songwriter Dan Lillker's politically incorrect lyrics, which were as he says "never intended to be serious, just to piss people off" Once we get all over those issues, we have a fine example of crossover thrash metal, a band which fuse the best parts of hardcore and thrash metal to create an album of power blasts that will fry your head, or at least certainly would have done at the time of release in 1985. Some of the songs are far too short, Hey Gordy at 7 seconds long makes Napalm Death look like...

...Milan undoubtedly has some of the finest designer boutiques in Europe, and the scope is incredible, with more or less entire streets filled with designer boutiques. Of course with the Italian Lire, the price tags run into the millions, and there is very little that anyone coming on holiday can really afford to substantially overhaul their wardrobe. Indeed becasue of Milan's status, there almost seems to be a slight premium on prices of clothes - a Milano tax! All the international names are present in Milan as well as a whole host of Italian designers, whose work is bubbling under the surface ready to make the big breakthrough. For an up and coming designer Milan is wonderful as you can see what is in and what to go for for next season, but for mere mortals, the prices are a bit out of the range of everyday shoppers....

Review of Milan in general

Power of Three fantastic Actresses

Advantages: Acting is superb
Disadvantages: Could be more scary

...We are introduced to 3 sisters, Prue (Shannon Doherty), Piper (Holly-Marie Coombs) and Phoebe (Alysa Milano) who discover that upon the death of their grandmother and their reunion in ‘The Manor’ they have magic powers and are in fact witches. Prue can move objects with her mind, Piper can freeze objects and Phoebe get premonitions. As the series’ progress their powers expand and they become able to do other things like levitate and blow up things! I love this programme! Holly-Marie Coombs brings some fantastic comedy to this first series, especially considering her fiancé is really a demon waiting for her to get her powers so he can kill her! Shannon Doherty’s brings a firm authoritative but fun approach to the character of Prue, who works at an auction house, her knowledge of artefacts is useful in their demon detection work. Alyssa...

who put the "express" in national express?

Advantages: not sure really...cause it ain't cheap; but the helpline staff were somewhat helpful
Disadvantages: incompetent drivers, endless delays

...Booked a coach trip from London Victoria to Milano, via Paris for one week. It was like a carry on film, almost farcical and amateurish at times but quite annoying and inconvenient at others. We had a Polish coach driver who did not know the roads well so we missed our slot at the Channel tunnel and had to wait for the next crossing. This meant that we risked missing the connection in Paris. Coach driver had no idea what to do or who to contact. Our friends at home contacted the helpline who asked for the Paris coach to be delayed by an hour!! When we finally crossed, drove to Paris, our Polish friend didn't know where the coach station was. Some French passengers directed him (loud noises, frustrations and chaos ensued). And when we boarded the coach from Paris to Milan we could read the disdain on those unfortunate souls' faces...

Shannen Doherty (from Beverley Hills 90210) stars as Pru, and she has two sisters Piper (Holly Marie Combs) and Phoebe (Alyssa Milano - who also has edited/directed some of the series). There are several regular stars, particularly Andy and his cop partner. In addition, there are several guest stars who play ghosts, devils/demons, and other unusual mythical creatures. You also get "innocents" who the 3 sisters have to protect from the "evil" doers, by invoking the Power of Three. One can freeze time and people, one can move things (telekinesis) and the other has the power to see the future (or sometimes past events). 2007 Type R FN2 - A Great Car

Advantages: Price, Performance, Interior, Exterior, Sound

...I drove past the Honda Garage in October whilst looking for a Ford Focus ST (to be honest I hadnt even thought about the CTR) and saw that they had a 57 reg milano red type r with 9000 miles for £14995. My budget was 12000 plus the part exchange value of my previous fiat (total of about £14000). I was sceptical about getting £1000 knocked off but thought it would be worth a shot. I took the car out for a test drive and was impressed at how easy the car was to drive about town. I was getting 29mpg which was very impressive (dont get that any more sadly!) I waited over a month, looking at other dealerships as the prices were starting to drop with the current economic climate.
