...To me the millennium done really symbolised eevrything thast the millennium means. The sheer sixe and amazement of the place. It was so brilliant i WNET AGAIN AND WOULD GO AGAIN IF i HAD THE MONEY. tHE MILLENNIUM SHOW WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, THE BEST SHOW i HAVE EVER SEEN. tHE MILLENNIUM STAR DIAMOND WAS WORTH THE TEN MINUTE WAIT TO SEE. EVEN THE SCHOOL ZONE HAS THE WONDERFUL MAGICAL ORCHARD BEHIND IT. REALLY I COULD GO ON AND ON AND ON ABOUT THIS MAGNIFICENT PLACE. DON'T DISS IT TILL YOU TRIED IT.... Read review

Advantages: The state of the art technology.
Disadvantages: Some of the Queues.

...The Dome is probably the most expensive attraction the UK has ever had and in my opinion I think that It's well worth all the money, and before people even start to criticise it they should explore the Dome and they will find that it is truly wonderful. Some people may say that the meaning of the Millennium, Christ's 2000'th birthday has been overlooked but that is not true as there is a very meaningful Faith zone which as well as dealing with other faiths explores 2000 years of Christianity. My 5 Star rating of the zones I visited: Work - ***** - Play on a massive football table, take part in many interactive activities, such as "get to work" - a table which you shake to guide a metal ball to "work". Money - *** - See what a Million pounds looks like as you walk through a tunnel of glass with £50 pound notes in it totalling 1 million... Read review

...The Millennium Dome The Millennium Dome had taken some press stick and from the public as well saying that it isn’t worth the money and they are still spending on it. I think that the Millennium Dome is a waster of time because too much money has been spent on it and should have been spent on something worth while. I mean something like a museum, theme park, and a nature park. This makes everyone happy from youngsters to o.a.p’s. They could have built all of these with the money instead of one big failure. I must admit that there are some good activities inside the Dome but for the money it should be absolutely magnificent not just all right.... Read review

Advantages: Great spread of music
Disadvantages: Too much of a spread in places

...Looking back at the last 1000 years of music, and only drawing on music from the last 40-odd may seem a touch shallow, bot looking at the track-listing makes you see why. There is Oasis, Rolling Stones, The Who, John Lennon, Wings, Derek & The Dominoes, and a whole host of other classics. The main sticking point is "where are the Beatles?", but when you realise that they're on no compilations due to the amount they demand in royalties, you realise they've dug their own grave in that respect. The album runs very well, with one or two exceptions e.g. 'Millennium'-Robbie Williams, and a few other weak songs thrown in in an attempt to add a variety of artists. Overall, in their bid to compile and produce an album of the best music of the last millennium, a good job has been done! But it!... Read review

Disadvantages: Outrageous drain on public money.

...An outrageous waste of public and lottery money! The bottomless pit we call the dome has so far sucked in some £850 million!! Doubtless there will be even more needed before someone has the courage to close it down. The expenditure equates to some £14 - £15 for every man woman and child in this Country. How many hospitals and schools could we have built with such a vast sum of money, or how much could Tony Blair have taken off the taxation on fuel?? This monstrosity will surely go down in History as Tony's Folly, yet Tony Blair, Peter Mandelsson an their cronies stoically refuse to call it a day, as it will mean losing face on their behalf! As a monument to British achievement, it is a fiasco. As a symbol of the new millennium, it has proved to be an unmitigated disaster! I for one, would give the heartiest ot 3 cheers... Read review

Advantages: Great start to a forgotten series

...I am reviewing the six disk DVD set of Millennium series 1 In 1996 Chris Carter the creator of the X-Files wanted something new and going in a different pace to the X-files, he thought long and hard about what to do but didn't really want to make anything with unsolved mysterys at the end of each episode. He had a story in mind about an FBI agent and his family trying to start a new life in another part of America to escape the past. He had an actor in mind for Frank's part straight away "Lance Henriksen" who Chris had seen acting on stage and on TV and knew he would be right for the part, he wanted lance because he would be older than any other characters he had done before and wanted to make sure that viewers would believe that he had been through a lot in his life. Disadvantages: Anyone seen the Beatles???

...Already owning the original 'Music Of The Millennium' and having enjoyed it a lot, I thought it would be worthwhile checking this new incarnation out. It certainly has all the makings of a "best songs ever recorded" album, with Queen, The Rolling Stones, Oasis, and all the other usual suspects APART FROM THE BEATLES!!! Aside from this lack of the 'best band ever', the album is really quite goo, with only a few poor tracks, like 'Protection' by Massive Attack, and a couple of others. On the whole, this album contins the featured bands best work, rather than most popular, e.g. 'Don't Look Back In Anger', by Oasis, rather than 'Wonderwall', 'Under Pressure' rather than 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Angels' rather than 'Millennium', i could go on... ...I didn't realise until I came across an article on the Millennium Dome just how much public national lottery money was being spent on to keep the Millennium Dome afloat. The fact that the Millennium Dome was built despite public opinion not to build this waste of space in the first place only adds to the disgrace. The figures I came across were that it cost in the region of 758 million pound to build (again, public money) and has drained tens of millions from national lottery funds ever since it opened last New Year's Eve. The government's Millennium Commission has since given to the Dome to keep it afloat £47 million, as well as the previous (I think rather quiet) handouts of £60 million in February, £29 million in May and £43 million only last month. Advantages: A fantastic space flight/combat game, great graphics, familiar to fans of the series
Disadvantages: LOTS of keys, not a pick up and play game. Can be a little frustrating at times

...All the Star Wars space flight sims have been great games. The familiarity of the Star Wars films adds a depth to the story line, its feels like your playing within a living universe, with events and actions occurring regardless of your actions. The gameplay is second to none, LucasArts has a long history of producing great space combat sims, and doesn’t slip up here. The keys will be instantly familiar to anyone who has played any of the previous games. However initial buzz for most players is to be flying one of the films star wars ships (Any one want a play on the Millennium Falcon?), but even after the novelty has worn off (as if it ever could), you still have a fantastic game, with a great story line, wonderful playability and bucketful's of atmosphere.... ...The Problem Time Computers, in common with other PC suppliers offer a preinstall or Windows Millennium only. You will NOT be supplied a backup disk of Windows Millennium. So What? Without an operating disk you are basically stuffed if anything goes wrong. A virus or a bad installation can cause mayhem to the Windows operating system which often require the operating disk to fix the problem. The only solution then would be to return your computer to Time Computers for a fix. Even adding or removing basic window components will be impossible. You need a backup copy of your Windows millennium operating system. The Solution Time will supply a disk for around £40. Try to persuade the salesperson to include this in the purchase, if not buy it. You will be spending over £1000 on a computer please do not spoil your enjoyment by making... Read review
