...It may not be a work of literacy art however it was intended for a very special person in my life who unlike you lot is highly unlikely to criticise, bear in mind that the intended audience was a one year old little girl who loves me and please be gentle with your more than likely harsh words of criticism! Advantages: Loads of colour choices, good price

...Yep the packaging is really similar to the Ruby & Millie Lip gloss and so i the actual product. The Body Shops version has the added bonus of being £6 nearly half the price of Ruby & Millies. This lipgloss is in a tube that you twist the end and the gloss is puched out on to a brush for you to paint your lips with. The only difference being that this has no silver cap, just classy clear plastic throughout. I prefer this to the ruby & Millie gloss, well I've used more of the body shops that I have of Ruby & Millies. The body shops lip gloss is a lot stickier and so sticks to glasses and sticks your lips together. It's harder to put on evenly because its globy but once its on it looks really good. ...If you are after a light hearted, quite predictable read, but also a read where you are still tempted to turn to that back page just to check that it is going to turn out the way you suspect, then this could well be the book for you! It even has that essential dose of sex included - yes, thought that would get your attention! We meet Millie, our heroine, on a hill top where her boyfriend is asking her a very important question – will she let him move in with her as he is about to be kicked out of his flat and has nowhere else to go? Our heroine doesn’t tell him where to go (although the reader may feel that she should have done exactly that, or is that just me), but instead goes off to talk to a woman who is quite obviously very distressed, meaning that Millie puts 2 and 2 together and makes 4 and a half, believing... ...Three bags full A lovely story about a very sweet character who is just too kind for her own good! We start with the words, “Millie was very very kind”, and learn that the cute and fluffy sheep skipping about the meadow is so kind that she tries hard not to stand on the flowers. One sunny morning, Millie is skipping about the field when a bird asks if she can have some of Millie’s wool for her nest. Of course, Millie says yes, and we see the bird tugging at the wool. The same happens when badger and rabbit ask for some wool for their nests- Millie is so accommodating that she rubs against a tree to loosen some of the wool. Advantages: moisturising, long lasting, chic

...I was first given a Ruby and Millie lipstick as a present. I had never used it before and now I think it is the second best brand in the world (MAC will always be my favourite). It is incredibly moisturising and at the same time long lasting, reasonably priced (£10) and comes in a really cool long silver tube. The range of colours and textures is fantastic and I like that they have colours to suit all skin tones. The range was made up by a couple of make up artists and so they really know what they're doing. The only drawback is that I can only seem to find it in large Boots stores. Advantages: The usual Jill mansell fun and frolics
Disadvantages: As ever, was over way too soon

...It's funny how, although Jill Mansell's books are almost always over 500 pages long, you feel like the pages fly past in a matter of moment. She is to books what pringles are to snacks - once you "pop" the book open, you can't stop! Sorry for that but in my opinion it is the case. I often have to force myself to slow down my reading, just to make it last a bit longer. I mean, she'll only be bringing out an average of a book a year now . . . to wait all that time for a fix and then for it to be over so soon, in a mere matter of hours! How can I cope with that??? Millie's Fling is written in Jill Mansell's usual fast-paced fabulous style. It features Millie, the typical Mansell gorgeous but incident-prone heroine, who saves the beautiful romantic novelist Orla Hart from committing suicide, and breaking up her own relationship... ...I first met Milly-Molly-Mandy in the 1970's when I read the books to my little sister. They were enchanting even back then and I was quite angry that I had not had them read to me when I was younger! They are the story of a little girl of about 6 years old and her life in the countryside ,on a small holding in the 'nice white cottage with the thatched roof' . She shares her home with her parents and her extended family...Grandpa,Grandma,Uncle and Aunty...Toby the dog and Topsy the cat. There are 13 Stories in the first book called Milly-Molly-Mandy stories(first published 1928) , covering such everyday things as going to a party, a fete , blackberrying , responsibility , patience, sharing, persistence, friendship and being small but useful! ...I have purchased many Ruby and Millie products previously such as lipstick and eyeshadow but in my mind the nail varnish is by far my favourite. Ruby and Millie is a range developed by Ruby Hammer and Millie Kendall and is exclusive to Boots. The range is very modern and this is reflected in the packaging which involves clear plastic so that the contents can be seen, and mirrored silver, all bearing the brand name. Boots Fashion Brands (which includes Ruby and Millie, Karen Millen, Urban Decay etc) frequently has special offers on such as '3 for 2' or '500 advantage card point when you purchase two products' so this makes it more affordable. The nail polish costs £8-50 which is not bad considering it is quite an upmarket trendy brand, however I wouldn't describe it as a premium cosmetic brand. I chose two nail polishes - Pink 400P... ...Ruby and Millie have been around for a little while now and produce good quality make up at a sensible price. This is one of the wonder products. Ruby and Millie Eye Base comes in a tube with a brush attachment on the end. You turn the other end and the product is fed through to the brush- making it more hygienic than a pot. A small amount is spread onto your eyelid and blended up to your brow with the brush. You then apply your normal eyeshadow brand and it magically stays put all day- no creasing and very little wearing off. This type of product has been along time coming, but has arrived in style. I was a little dubious as to how well it would work costing only £8.00 (approx) But work it did!
