Milos - Beach Heaven

Advantages: Beautiful, Nice Beaches, Food, Easy Accessible
Disadvantages: Too many Beaches to choose from!!!

Very different from what you get in england Anyway lets get to the more exciting stuff....one major fact before I start is the famous sculpture Venus de Milos was found here!! This island is ideal for people who want a quiet holiday and to take in some scenery and get some sleep at night!! The island has lots of bays because it had a history of volcanic and earthquake activity. It has over 70 beaches, I must of gone to a few types of beaches while I was there including sandy, rocky and pebble. My favourite beach was in Sarakiniko, where there was a little beach and then eith side was white smooth rocks which formed a narrow inlet. Space-Age Music for the Modern Gentleman

Advantages: A very good third album.
Disadvantages: Not many.

...The long-awaited (by me) third studio release from YCNI:M is definitely a cut above the rest with it's fast, effect-heavy post hardcore sound reaching new and polished heights. When an underground band hits their third album there can be many outcomes. Some sound more polished, but lack the creativity of earlier recordings, other are still rough around the edges and have yet to improve, some have a new sound alltogether, and a lot of them split up. I'm glad to hear that unlike The Cooper Temple Clause (R.I.P.), Yourcodenameis:Milo are still very much alive*. And after taking a break to record Print is Dead Vol. 1 with some friends, they've recorded their own new album. A Collaborative Masterpiece

Advantages: YCNI:M join forces with some top British bands.
Disadvantages: Well, every great album is allowed one bad track.

...What you get when you buy this album is a collection of short but sweet collaborative tracks, orchestrated by the up and coming British band Yourcodenameis:Milo. Print is Dead Vol. 1 is the first in a series of albums much like the Desert Sessions of yore, with bands from all over England coming together to make a mix tape of amazing quality. Track one is the aptly named Greetings, starting off the album quite nicely. The song, by YCNI:M and Hot Club De Paris, starts off at an average pace, breaks down to a stop in the middle and then comes back with a fast beat and some nice repeated talking. A fantastic album, well worth a listen!

Advantages: loud, interesting, different, special
Disadvantages: not for the faint-hearted!

...The, the first truly full-length album from Hardcore band Milo (All Roads to Fault and Rapt Dept are a mini-album and EP respectively). This album is without a doubt, one of the best I have bought in a while. Every time this CD goes on your stereo, a different track seems to leap out into the fore. The 2 singles "Schteeve", with it's sludgy riff, launching into a fantastic rhythm and "17", with it's epic chorus, as well as the lead track of the Rapt. Dept. EP which preceded this LP, are 3 such songs, but delve into it further, and all the songs will become classics; "2 stone" and "Audition / Unfinished Drawings of Cats & Dogs" are some of stand-out classics for me so far. Atlantis: The Lost Empire - A great movie for all ages.

Advantages: Great voice-acting and plot.
Disadvantages: Some plot holes and predictable ending.

From zero to hero.

Advantages: Jim Carrey and milo the dog.
Disadvantages: Some of the other actors and actresses acting.

...Rating: PG Run time: 97 minutes When Stanley Ipkiss finds a old mask and takes it home little does he know that the mask is a old relic and possibly the item which the God of mischief Loki was imprisoned in. When nice guy Stanley puts on the mask he turns into a completely different man and I certainly mean different! The Mask is a bald, green faced and arrogant man who uses Looney tune special effects. With the Mask on the loose the whole town is in for a whole lot of trouble. Jim Carrey's (Stanley Ipkiss) physical acting was as great as usual and he managed to do the slapstick comedy splendidly. The other actors and actresses were alright though the dog Milo comes second in the best actor/actresses in this movie with his cute face and tricks. The story was good though it was mainly meant to be a bit like a looney tunes...

Gone - but not forgotten.

Advantages: A quick and easy read
Disadvantages: guessed 'whodunnit' a bit too easily

...the twentieth book in the series featuring psychologist Alex Delaware, his girlfriend, Robin, and LAPD's gay detective Milo Sturgis. The fact that I had not read any other s of the series did not spoil the reading of this novel. I found 'Gone' a quick and easy read, finishing it on the second day of reading and I was keen to know what was going to happen next . The book tells the story, of two acting students (Dylan Meserve and Michaela Brand) , who vanish on the way home from a rehearsal. It takes three days for them to be found, battered and terrified, in the remote mountains of Malibu -. after being carjacked at gunpoint and confines, starved and assaulted.
