...There are several Mimosa species but the one I talk about today is I think Arcacia dealbata When we went to Tunisia at the end of February we saw many mimosa trees/shrubs. I was impressed by the sight of a row of these shrubs growing alongside the road. The mimosa an evergreen bushy tree with green feathery blue grey green leaves. Grows to15 metres tall. The flowers are yellow, a small ball shaped flower which is sort of fluffy. Numerous of these flowers grow at the end of branches and are quite sweet smelling. They grow well in full sun. These trees /shrubs have a pale green coloured trunk. This Mimosa is native to Australia. It will survive in a sheltered position in the south of this country.. It is a tender plant. Mimosa - A top Hotel!!

Advantages: Atmosphere around the hotel
Disadvantages: Lack of quality at breakfast

...Recently returned from a 2-week break in Sidari staying at the Mimosa Hotel and all i can say is excellent!! We arrived at the hotel around 5am in the morning after a long flight delay and despite all 8 of us being very sleep and delirious we were quickly checked-in and taken to our rooms. The room was decently spacious with 2 single beds as requested, a nicely sized balcony and plenty of storage room for clothes. Being half-broad, breakfast and evening meal were included, however we only ate breakfast on 5 of the mornings as the menu was limited and the quality of food was not the greatest and only basic. A 'full-english' was available but only at an extra cost. The evening meal was much better. It was a set menu for each day but there was a wide variety on top of vegetarian options. It might be criminal but it's FUN!

Advantages: If you like covers you will love this.
Disadvantages: If you don't like covers you will hate this.

...Now this is the first review I have done on music. Now I love music but I am not so good at describing things about music. So here goes nothing. Well you don't know till you try. Most of the songs on the mimosa album are covers, but not all lets start at the beginning. 1) Couldn't Get It Right This is one of the cover songs which was written by The climax blues band. I am not sure if I have heard the original or if I have only heard this version. Yet as always the song has the criminals sound. Very mellow and a good song to chill out to. Song time 3 minutes 40 seconds. 2) Scooby Snacks (Schmoove Version) Any one who has listened to this band will know this song. Scooby snacks was the bands first major hit in this country anyway. ...Most people who have seen the Fun Lovin Criminals will agree that Huey is the coolest (white) man in the world. The band themselves are at their best as a lounging soundtrack, music for relaxing with friends, drinking martinis and smoking cigars to. With this in mind the thought of a FLC album containing nothing but schmooze versions of their songs and loungey covers was a terrific prospect that had me in front of the mirror perfecting my New York accent in anticipation. Mimosa has some great songs on it, the highlights being new-but-already-becoming-classic 'Couldn't Get it Right', the fantastic version of 'Scooby Snacks', and the superb 'I Can't Get With That'. ...On my trip to Tesco?s not so long ago I decided to be adventurous and try a new bubble bath ? as L?Oreal would say ? Because I?m worth it <g>. So, after walking around I saw they had Radox Bubble baths on offer. Not having my favourite one I decided to try a change and went with Time Out with Mimosa. It smelt ok, but I was more after the relaxing side of things so I thought I?d give anything a go. Advantages: Cooler, mellower then the 2nd album

...This again is an excellent album from the Fun Lovin' Criminals. It may be seen as one for the die-hard fan but it is still good for easy, relaxed listening. They have mellowed out quite a lot and it shows in this 3rd album. Mimosa has that certain quality that makes you want to hear it again and actually listen to the lyrics. Particularly the 1st song, Couldn't get it right, strikes a chord with everyone who has listened to it. There are several songs that appear on Come Find Yourself and are more relaxed.
