Maybelline Mineral Foundation POWDER - A must for spot prone skin

...I have already reviewed the liquid version of this foundation, and for anyone who read that review, you know that my opinion was not very high and I found it to be a completely useless product that swiftly went in the bin after only a couple of weeks. The reason for buying this particular liquid version was simply that I had missed liquid foundation after months of using this product I am reviewing now, Maybelline Pure Foundation Mineral Powder. I had used this for a long time prior to my being unfaithful (it just happened I swear!) and have since gone back to it. MaxFactor natural minerals foundation - definately not natural

The product promised a new mineral foundation that would build coverage and whilst smoothing my imperfections and providing me with a 'healthy glow'. ...i bought maybelline pure minerals foundation for £9.99 which i think is a bit pricy for the amoount that you get! it is in a very small (but admittedly very cool) tub which is easy to use and stops you putting too much on the free brush (in theory) i got the second to lightest colour which should have been perfect for my skin, however it doesnt cover blemishes very well and goes VERY ORANGE and CAKEY when you put more on! it is a loose powder which i wouldn't normally use as it tends to go everywhere but i decided to give it a go when i heard that it is much friendlier to your skin and doesnt clog your pores. to start with this was true but after a few days of using it i found that it still gave me spots even though i apply moisturiser before it and clean it off when i get in. it also doesn't last that long, although fine...

Advantages: proberbly better suited to a loose body glitter

...I purchased this when i bought my latest mineral powder , and have to admit found it pretty unsuccessful for applying mineral powder. I loaded up my brush and shook of the excess which is my usual way but it seemed to have vanished up inside the bristles and when i tried to apply the powder i was grateful i was wearing my cosmetic toweling dressing gown because it seemed to go everywhere apart from my face , needless to say i have now banished this to the bottom of my make-up bag. I think this would work better if it was a little longer in the handle and the bristles were a tad shorter , until then i shall leave it where it is or find something else to use it for , maybe applying blusher or loose body glitter....
