I know that Maybelline do a mineral powder, but have never tried it for myself. Mineral foundation is great for your skin compared to normal foundation so anything with minerals, i would recommend for trial. ~ Is It Good Value For Money? ~ I would say that 10 pound plus more for the kabuki brush is not worth it for only 6g of foundation and a lot of hard work on blending! I am converted to mineral make-up!

Advantages: So much kinder to skin than liquid foundations, and it blends perfectly!
Disadvantages: Buying seperately is expensive but this kit is a bargain.

If you told me over a week ago I would be saying a brand of minerals foundation is one of the best types of make-up I have ever used, I just would not have believed you, simple as that. I have tried all the usual liquid foundations from brands such as Maybelline and L'Oreal, right up to the likes of Clinique and MAC. Whilst I do rate some of those more than others, there was a certain type of make-up I didn't like, minerals powder. A MINERAL POWER FOUNDATION THAT IS GOOD FOR YOUR SKIN

Advantages: Natural ingredients, non greasy, often reduced price, doesn't clog pores etc
Disadvantages: Flicks everywhere when you put the brush in if you aren't careful

...brush all over your face. This is what I do to use it and it works well enough for me. One complaint I do have is that after I use this when I look at the surfaces around me they are always covered in the bits of powder, it goes absolutely everywhere even sometimes on the clothes I am wearing if I'm not careful! Ease of Removal This is really easy to take off and comes off with a wipe, when I wash my face, with make up remover. Even if it rains then this sometimes comes off a little bit, so this would be no good for swimming. I think it is designed to not clog up pores so this is why it stays on top of your skin instead of soaking in. In some ways this is a good thing; you can take it off without having to scrub really hard which is what I'd expect from a foundation. I never go swimming and try to stand out of the rain...

...I have been wanting to try a good Mineral makeup foundation powder for a while now, and I understood that with Mineral foundation you need a good kabuki brush as mineral makeup powder is very fine and light. A Kabuki brush is a small brush usually with a dense head of bristles or dome shaped. If you wear mineral make up then a good kabuki brush is classed as essential. Mineral make up is a loose powder foundation that is very natural and good for all skin types. There are no perfumes, nasty chemicals or preservatives. When using a normal make up brush with a minerals foundation it can look a bit too heavy, but using a good brush designed for use with mineral make up ensures that it looks natural and gives an even courage. MIRACLE MINERAL MAKE UP

Advantages: Light but gives an even coverage, does not clog pores.
Disadvantages: Messy to apply.

...I absolutey love this product. I have used it most days for the past 6 months. As it says it is mineral make up and i have found that this has calmed my problematic teenage skin. Before using this products i would use other foundations but i have found that all of the others, on regular use have made my skin a lot worse. Since using this product i have not had these problems and when wearing it i feel as though im not wearing any make up and i dont feel as though it is clogging up my pores. It can be a bit tricky to apply as it is powder a lot of it can be lost through spillages. One problem i feel is that you have to be careful when applying it if you are dressed and ready to go out because it can sometimes get on your clothes and is a little difficult to rub off in a hurry....
