Minolta DiMAGE Xt
Advantages: Daylight photos and battery
Disadvantages: Night photos
...This machine will be your best friend. Especially if you don't have a mobile that take photos. You can carry with you easy cause to the small size.
Perfect image colours for the daylight photos but not the same for the night especially if you try to take photo people further than 2 meters due to the week flash.
The battery last longer than other cameras cause the optical zoom is internal (Minolta pattern) and the LCD screen at the back is small(less energy consumption).
So if you want to buy a quality that last with less money is a good selection. Definitely there are better cameras with better night photos. But is difficult to find any camera to take photos at night.
Tip for nights photos don't use the flash. Press the button for photo and wait . Try this to take photo a town from above at night. It needs 30 second to take...

Minolta DiMAGE Xg
Advantages: small, easy to use, feature packed
Disadvantages: can not use ordinary batteries
...of features, some of them 'gimmicky' but some useful ones too (see minoltas website for details)
One thing that worried me before I bought the camera was the battery. The camera uses a rechargeable lithium battery (like a small cell phone battery) this means that if it goes flat, you can not put in a couple of AA's to tide you over. However, since using the camera I find that even after a full day of taking flash photos and movies the battery does not run out. That said, a spare battery can be obtained for less than £20, this is worth considering if you are a really heavy user. The battery has to be removed and placed in a separate charger, but this is a simple operation.
There are plenty of cheaper cameras out there with a higher resolution, but resolution alone does not determine the quality of the picture. I think overall, considering...

Minolta Dimage 7(Superb Camera)
Advantages: Excellant quality pics, lots of functions, easy to use.
Disadvantages: Batteries last about 20 mins if your lucky,Power pack was 50 pounds from jessups.
...When i bought my minolta dimage 7 camera it was about 800 pounds and to be honest it is not really worth 800 pounds, its a nice looking camera with lots of different functions but theres so many cameras on the market today its hard to differenciate one digital camera from another.I think the price has come down to about 600 pounds now.try Dealtime.co.uk and search away.
Pros
You can take pictures of about 5 different sizes without losing the excellant quality, theres also different quality settings,im not a professional photographer but the only reason that i would take a lower quality picture is if i were taking pictures to use on the pc or internet, for printing i would take at best quality.Theres different settings for different types of weather ,if it is cloudy or sunny, indoor or outdoor. You can use this camera as a fully automatic...

Konica Minolta DiMAGE X
Advantages: Super easy to use, light and portable and a great first digital camera for all
Disadvantages: The software is unsatisfactory, and the SD card included is far from what it could be
...This camera is perhaps one of the most user-friendly cameras that I have encountered. It avoids the trap of many other digital cameras, with only a few buttons which are multifunctional, as opposed to lots of one-use buttons. This combines with the easy navigation of the camera menus to make the DiMAGE very easy to use.
The LCD display is also impressive. The refresh rate is much faster than on other digital camaeras. As a result, it maintains a sharp picture when moved suddenly. However, like many LCD displays, it is only visible face on, with a very small angle view. Moreover, fingerprints greatly affects the view and, although I haven't damaged the screen yet, it is prone to damage, especially from excess pressure on the screen.
Other features help to make this camaera an all round good buy. The quick start up time, literally 1...

Struggling to find a DIMAGE-inative title
Advantages: loads of features, good all-round camera
Disadvantages: batteries and memory card supplied are inadequate
...I purchased my Minolta Dimage 5 at Schiphol airport, Amsterdam, and having had about 6 weeks of use, and still not used all the features, although I think I am just about ready to write a review about the camera. Buying at Schiphol took over EUR 200 off the price ? EUR 885 instead of EUR 1085 (shop price when I purchased it), although this soon went on two extra 96Mb memory cards.
I chose the camera because it had the feeling of an SLR (Single Lens Reflex ? if you don?t know what this means then, to put it very bluntly, the Dimage 5 won?t be the camera for you!), and I have been the owner of a Minolta SLR for many years, and liked the look of this one more than the Fuji Finepix 6900, and it was slightly cheaper. Of course domestic Digital Cameras have not yet reached a standard where you can ditch your SLR for good, but for a keen...

DiMAGE is everything
Advantages: Compact, Dual-Format Storage, Ultra-fast Startup, No Shutter-Lag
Disadvantages: User Interface
...Digital cameras have arguably made a far greater impact than film cameras ever did, a quick look at the pages of Ciao reveals literally hundreds of digital models all vying for your attention and hard-earned. The majority are produced by manufacturers that are already well-established in the field of photography and all offer much the same in terms of functionality so how do you choose which is the best one for you?
I faced this challenge a couple of weeks back when we were out looking for a digital camera for LegendaryMrsDude. My old Fuji Finepix F601 was playing up and was long overdue a replacement, but what to replace it with? The criteria we chose and how the Konica Minolta G530 compared against the competition in each are described below, along with how we've found the camera in the last month of use.
Asking my wife is size...

Dimage Z2...Fantastic!
Advantages: Fantastic, crisp images
Disadvantages: quite short battery life
...After having my 3.2MP camera from a couple of years ago which I got free with my computer, I decided to start looking around for a higher quality digital SLR camera, that I could use professionally, for a small price. Eventually I came to the decision to buy the Konica Minolta Z2.
This is a 4MP SLR with a huge 10x optical zoom, and 4x digital zoom, making this one of the largest zooms on the market for a camera of this price.
The Feel...
the Z2 is one of the most ergonomic digital cameras I have ever come across, comfortable to hold with two honds or just one- for thos quick spur of the moment shots.
Functions.....
This is where the camera excels! With the auto function, portrait, movement, landscape, sunset/rise, night, apeture, movie and much more functions you are bound to find the one which will take the image you want...

Dimage Z5. A camera that's not too snappy
Advantages: Light weight
Disadvantages: Anti-shake not too hot
...Part of my job involves taking photographs. Previously I had used a heavy but exceptionally good and hardworking semi-pro Canon Powershot G2, but this was replaced with a Konica Minolta Z5. In theory this should have been better. It was somewhat lighter, and had higher resolution with 5 mega pixels.
That was the theory, but the truth is somewhat different. The view screen is useless when used outdoors, as it cannot be tilted (as that on the Canon can) so is not useable whilst in direct sunlight.
Whilst the camera is reasonably easy to hold (it is clear that attention to detail has been given to the ergodynamic design of the camera) it has been designed in such a way that it is not easy for left-handed people to use. The menu, however, is easy to access and fairly easy to use.
The flip up flash unit is a good idea and works...

Minolta F300 - Digital Camera & Video
Advantages: Easy to use,Fantastic Photographs,Video Capabilty
Disadvantages: None
...own doing i may add,was that whilst the lead was connected from the Camera to my Laptop, the Camera was knocked to the floor and damaged the Camera part that accepts the Lead.We were going on oliday in 4 days and was desperate to get the Camera repaired. After some enquiries,i found that Minolta has a repair Service Centre in Milton Keynes. You can send the camera to them at your expense but as the situation was urgent i took the 45 minute drive to the Service Centre. The Staff were very friendly, but told me there was a 2 week wait for the repair.I explained my situation and they were happy to twist the rules for me,and i was able to pick up the Phone on our way up to Scotland for our Holiday.Included in the Flat Repair price of
£113,the outer casing which had taken the brunt of the fall was also replaced and the Camera was given a 'Service...

A Scanner Darkly
Advantages: Good Special Effects
Disadvantages: Not many
..."A Scanner Darkly" is based on the novel by Philip K Dick. Richard Linklater's film stars Keanu Reeves as undercover narcotics policeman; Bob Arctor. This is an interesting film but it didn't really move me deeply. There was some good acting but the story line was simply not exceptional. On deep reflection it is not a film that I would recommend. But if you want to watch it do so at your own risk.
