Kids, Kids and loads of family fun!
Advantages: Great For Families and Kids
Disadvantages: Decor & maybe not suitable for couples
...The hotel Cala n Bosch is situated in the resort of Cala n Bosch which also happens to be the furthest resort that you could possibly get to from Mahon Airport.
The hotel itself towers above Cala n Bosch and can be seen as you drive down the main road that comes from Ciutadella approaching the resort. Transfer times could be 1 hour to 1 hour 30 depending on time of day or if you have other stops.
The resort of Cala n Bosch is set around a pleasant, relaxing and friendly man-made marina with an abundance of shops, restaurants and cafés. It also features a kiddies play area called the Goodie Goodie restaurant which is packed with fun and activities for kids and teenagers.
From a room at the front of the hotel (main entrance side) you will get fantastic views of the marina and the surrounding areas and a sea view. The other side...

Hotel Cala n Blanes - Cala n Blanes ,FIRST CHOICE
Advantages: MENORCA A LOVELY PLACE TO VISIT
Disadvantages: HOTEL A LITTLE DISSAPOINTING
...checked by the beach staff so you will be warned if they are in the sea. Lots of people got stung but we loved the pool so it didnt spoil our time.
10 min walk to Calan Forcat - small water park, shops and bars.
We hired a car and visited several small beaches - Cala Mitjana - hilarious for the kids as there were some nudists there!!! Lots of places for you to just stop on the road take a towel and dive into the sea.
All in all we had a great time, the weather was a little cloudy at times and it was VERY windy in the resort but we all got tans and we made some great friendsd.
ENTERTAINMENT - Good family fun, archery, shooting, killerpool etc. The grown ups got very competitive and we had lots of fun booing eachother at certificate giving time. Evening shows - some were good the african dancers and mexican show. Magic show was good...

Splish splosh, its a Bosch
Advantages: Low noise
Disadvantages: Cutlery compartment is a bit inflexible and bendy
...Introduction
Personally, the invention of the dishwasher has been one of the greatest inventions of recent times. As both myself and my wife work, we need to maximize the quality time we get together. What better way to accomplish this than to shove all the pots and pans into a dishwasher, forget about it for a couple of hours and then put them all away when dry. For some reason we seem to have got through dishwashers like there was no tomorrow (the handle broke on one and the motor went kaput on the second) so when we chose our current dishwasher, we studied reviews on reliability as well as performance and the Bosch came out on top.
Tour of the Dishwasher
Outside
The dishwasher has a white metal door, with a white plastic control panel. On the control panel are the power button, the programme dial and 3...

Our New Washing Machine: It's a Bosch.
Advantages: Quiet and efficient. Good bulid quality
Disadvantages: None so far
.... As I had owned several Bosch tools and found them incredibly reliable and of good quality, I suggested we go this time for a Bosch and having owned this machine now for around 6 months, it was certainly no mistake. We purchased the Bosch ClassiXX6 1200. We got our machine from Comet, who delivered it the following day and took away our old Hoover at no extra cost.
Quiet and Powerful
I was amazed at the quietness of the machine as it went through its cycle (Noise level washing (dB): 59, noise level spinning (dB): 79). With our old Hoover machine, I had often had to increase the volume of the TV when the thing went into its spin cycle. Enough said! But this Bosch brought a smile to my face as my wife said to me, ?it?s spinning, can you hear it?? I could barely discern a faint noise as I listened carefully. I couldn?t resist but go...

Cala N Bosch- Menorca
Advantages: Great sights, lovely weather, fantastic location
Disadvantages: None
...Hi there!
I have just returned back today from Menorca, and had such a fantastic time, I wanted to share my experience in case anyone is looking for a brilliant holiday in the near future.
Myself and my partner arrived in Mahon (the recently made capital of Menorca) on 4th May 2007. We were travelling with Thomas Cook, and had booked a week in the Valentin Star Hotel (4*) located in Cala N Bosch on the South west Coast of Menorca. We had booked half board, which also included in flight meals. Booking about 6 months in advance, and booking online via the internet, the entire package for 2 of us cost the bargain price of under £500! I believe we saved about £400 by booking online. Transfers were also included, and all in all, the service was quick, efficient, and with friendly staff.
Environment:
Menorca is noted for its...

Barcelo Cala Vinas a scenic place to please us?
Advantages: Immaculate hotel, great entertainment team, lovely location and superb food.
Disadvantages: Remoteish location, lacking room facilities and the damn bingo!
...We had been looking forward to our holiday to Mallorca for such a long time we thought it was never going to arrive. After a hard year full of ups and downs we were more than ready for the break and had built up the trip into something that had to be the perfect getaway. Of course, a vital part of our holiday would be how good the hotel was so it is with some trepidation that we arrived at the Barcelo Cala Vinas on June 14th 2008.
Booked through Thomas Cook the Barcelo Cala Vinas is part of a chain. The hotel is situated in the quite and serene area of Cala Vinyes, Calvia. Somewhat off the beaten track, the hotel is situated twenty minutes walk from Magalluf and is just over an hour via coach transfer from Palma airport. Overlooking a beautiful little cove, the hotel is one of few tourist properties in the area with only the Cala...

Bosch WTE84308GB Exxcel: An efficient household addition
Advantages: Condensing, several programmes, low creasing levels
Disadvantages: None really
...is easy to remove the fluff collection
* The time remaining is useful to know
* A small load takes less time than a large load, and you see that on the time remaining display after it has started, so the sensor works!
* I haven' tried it, but I think a single duvet would fit in it with room to dry
Cons:
* Bed sheets do crease quite a lot, but I don't class this as a fault with this machine, rather an expectation if you are going to put big bulky items in the dryer
I am not listing all of the specifications as they can be found on the Bosch website, but I refer to the performance of the features that I use above. If I don't mention it, I don't use it. I cannot comment on whether it truly is Energy Efficiency rating B as we can't test that....

Disappointing Bosch
Advantages: Large cutting capacity
Disadvantages: Noise, Noise & More Noise
...Just bought as a replacement for a 12 year old Wolf mower whose motor died. Have a few Bosch products which are all satisfactory and had read a couple of positive reviews for this model.
What I like is the wide cutting width, 6cm bigger, and the large (50 lt) grass box - a bit less walking . Alo the switch, being across the full width of the handle makes it easy to control.
What I'm not sure about are the combs, bit gimicky probably, and the suction. My old mower vacuumed the grass, the blade was designed as a propellor, the Bosch removes the cut grass but not all the leaves, etc, that fall.
What I don't like is the noise (much, much louder), there's no indication when the grass box is full, and the quality of construction - the plastic feels flimsy, not sure it will last the 12 years of the old.
Would I buy it...

BOSCH CLASSIXX DISHWASHER SGS45CO2GB
Advantages: Outstanding cleaning leaving dishes sparkling
Disadvantages: None
...This is a fantastic dishwasher. I have owned 2 dishwashers previously made by different manufactures and neither could compare to this one. It leaves the dishes spotless every time and I never have to use the rinse facility.I only use the dishwasher, on average, on alternate days,so the food has had time to dry on well!! I have never used any program except the energy saving program and find that it cleans so well that I have never tried any other. One slight downside is the lenght of time the program takes, but this is probably the same with all modern dishwashers. Bosch have and above average reliability rating in any survey conducted so I look forward too many years of trouble free use from this machine....

Bisch Basch Bosch
Advantages: developms key motor and problem solving skills
Disadvantages: Possible use for launching missiles
...gravitated towards the pink dressing table with vanity mirror and matching hair dryer (he still hasn't gotten over me letting Kyle have two painted toenails!). Instead we opted for the Bosch Workbench my friend had recommended to me some time ago.
***Age Range***
This is advertised as for 3-6 year olds however, we bought it for our active 2 1/2 year old feeling it didn't pose a danger to him - to the house maybe but not to him!
***Is it affordable***
£45.00 which includes a tool set worth £20 which I think is absolutely amazing value for money.
***Availability***
We got ours from the Early Learning Centre but you can get them also from Toys-r-us and direct from the Bosch website.
***Storage***
Granted, this isn't the smallest of toys and it will take up some room. (roughly 100cm tall and 70cm wide) It was a struggle to squeeze it...
