Windows 7 - The Best OS Yet!

Advantages: Great new toolbar, excellent personalisation, overall brilliant design
Disadvantages: Really similar to Vista.

...In July, I downloaded the Release Candidate of Windows 7 to evaluate the new operating system and I have to say it's the best version of Windows yet! It surpasses Vista in every way. Windows 7 is not available yet but I'm encouraging all Vista uers to upgrade in October as soon as the software is released. In the rest of my review I will outline some of the key features. Windows 7 - it makes Vista look like a beta

Advantages: smooth, quick, easy to install and use, pretty to look at, simplified for the masses
Disadvantages: Vista should have been like this - Microsoft robbed us!

Windows 7: Is what Microsoft is saying really true?

Advantages: Runs really fast, Some very good features, any decent machine can run it.
Disadvantages: The Price. It looks like vista and it really is just a brush up on the old OS

But is it really better, below is my review of a few sections which I believe is most important and compare it to older versions. Speed: 9/10 Much faster than Vista. To compare with the Vista OS, on Vista it took around 30 secs to 45 secs to boot up and log me in. Now on Windows 7 it takes 20 - 30 secs to boot up. Shut down is also so much faster. Vista = 15 secs... Windows 7 = 5 secs..... So there is a huge improvement. Also when running programs or browsing the internet you feel like this Operating System is very smooth and just does what you want (most of the time) Program Compatablilty: 8/10 Most Programs that run on Vista will run on Windows 7 (32-bit) very well. Panasonic Lumix FS7

Advantages: Perfect picture

Advantages: Cheap very affordable Speaker, with unbelievable amounts of quality.

I suggest looking in What Hi-Fi for prices, but I have seen them for as little as £79.99!! Choose your amplifier very carefully, as some amps I listened to with these speakers gave some disappointing results. Magnificient Monster Mission

Advantages: Super stroyline
Disadvantages: Maybe a little scary for some children

...Monster Mission is a fantastic book for children and even young adults. It is a fantasy style story written by Eva Ibbotson and was first published in 1999. The story is 230 pages in length but is split into manageable chapters making it easy to digest and read in small chunks. I think however that most people will find like I did that the book is quite intriguing once you begin and that it is difficult to pull yourself away from it.
