The speakers come packed in a box, with an image of the speakers on it, so you can see exactly what you are in for. Also, along with them, comes an information manual, pointing out the various specs and features of the speakers. The manual is easy to read, and the speakers appear (I didn't set these ones up personally) simple to set up. These speakers are intended for indoor use and once removed from the box, you will realise that these speakers are in actual fact, extremely compact, and nicely designed. The actual dimensions of the speakers given on the box are: Height: 220 mm, Width: 140mm and the depth is 255mm. M2SS Individual Bookshelf Speakers

Advantages: High quality sound
Disadvantages: Not the best bass without a subwoofer

...After deciding to upgrade my surround sound speakers, I had a look at a few Loud Speaker packages, and then at the individual bookshelf speakers to compare price with value for money. I first decided to go with the individual bookshelf speakers rather than the all in one package, as you only need to have good front speakers to get the high quality sound feeling, and can drop a few levels for your side and rear speakers, as they do not need to produce as many sounds. Mission 750 LE Bookshelf Speaker

Advantages: Its Mission quality
Disadvantages: Not much Speaker for the money you have to pay

Points of criticism are a sound stage that gels to the enclosures rather than being totally free and open, a certain lack of transparency, and some emphasis on the treble: a clear case of a commercial 'too-much-hifi' sound, but then, Mission is a commercial company! It doesn't sound overtly bright or harsh, but neither is it entirely clean and neutral. Another aspect that revealed itself when playing louder than usual (I don't like to bang head, see, I'm an ESL-owner) was that the Missions lose control and close-in at high levels. Finally, we played a bit with their setup. With spikes between speakers and stands the combination sounds a bit too fierce to my mild-mannered tastes, but with Foculpods dampers things fare considerably better. So, not the best sound around, but decent and listenable nevertheless. The question is: who would buy...

Sound @ It's Worse

Advantages: Good Design
Disadvantages: £100!

...I wanted a new pair of speakers for my living room so I went down to my local Curry's store and found the fantastic Mission M73i set. For around £100 you get two metre tall speakers with a wooden finish. While they look modern, apart from the speakers, they're like something off an old James Bond film. They might have been cool back then but not now. The sound quality is only average and is really nothing special. While I could hear them well I could have got made better use of my money by spending £50 on a cheap set of six speakers. Seen as there's no photo on Ciao I will try to describe the product related to an everyday item. Picture two tall cardboard boxes and add a speaker at the top of each of them. - Review Dude's Final Thoughts - There's not really much more I can say about them. The sound quality is average...

Review of Mission m73i Speakers

A Crazy Mission

Advantages: Fast paced story, quirky sense of humour, very readable
Disadvantages: Totally preposterous plot

...amusing things, but the humour comes through at inappropriate moments undermining the dramatic tension. I sort of enjoyed this book, and would probably read another Meg Gardiner novel, but I'm not sure I could recommend it to anyone else. What I think she could do well is a real caper novel instead of this thriller interrupted. This book has a cover price of £6.99 and it is currently available at Amazon for £5.49. Like a Soldier on a Mission!!☺

Advantages: Cost Effective (£300) , Good Engineering, Taut & Tuneful Bass, Good sound quality, Good Build Quality, Easy installation.
Disadvantages: Sounds hard when ill-matched & fed bad recordings

...We er those who have read my reviews so far know I like slagging things/big companies off - but this is a different kind of review. Have a think first - why do home theatres set ups come with loads of speakers? For example, they might come with a centre speaker, a left, a right, 2 rear speakers and a sub. But you only have 2 ears. With the right kind of speaker(and this is the right kind of speaker) you only need 2. Its cheaper for manufacturers to build one sub woofer then it is to put proper cones in the rest of the speakers. And with a decent amp, and proper seperation between left and right, there is no need for a room for of speakers. I have two sets of these, downstairs I use them with a Harmon Kardon Amp AV100, and upstairs with a PM4200 amp. The bass in these speakers is powerful and kicking, perfect for movies and house...

Advantages: Cheap very affordable Speaker, with unbelievable amounts of quality.
Disadvantages: Too much bass for some... but not for me...

There big, but not too big, but do be sure that your room is big enough for the sound they produce... My top tips for buying using and listening to Mission 702e's:- These speakers are very cheap now, if you shop at the right outlets. I suggest looking in What Hi-Fi for prices, but I have seen them for as little as £79.99!! Choose your amplifier very carefully, as some amps I listened to with these speakers gave some disappointing results. For instance the Technics amp as good as it is in its own right sounded very flat. Listen to the speakers on a low volume for a period of time i.e. - 4 weeks or more.
