Bmw M3 Evo Saloon

Advantages: Fast, reliable, good handeling, comfortable, looks evil, solid build, smile factor
Disadvantages: expensive to maintain and run, steering wheel is a bit big, long gear throw

...Bmw E36 M3 evo saloon I love my M3 evo, 90k on the clock so far FSH and still on the same healthy sounding vanos unit. Ive always had quick cars but this thing is awesome. There are a few updated items on the 3.2 E36 M3 including bigger brakes from the M5 6, speed box and bigger 3.2 twin vanos engine giving a massive 321bhp. Beware though this car cant be run on a shoe string budget. my spends so far 1) new suspension and bushes standard boge set up £1000 2)gear box selector seal £150 3) inspection 2 service £850 which has highlighted that the vavles will need re-set in about 20-30k at a cost of £400 4) Its going in in two weeks to get the vanos serviced ,new mesh oil filter, solinoides cleaned and longer BMW bolts fitted to the front plate at a cost of £150 And if that troublesome vanos unit goes im looking a £1500...

Review of BMW M3

The BMW M3 is drive-a-licious !

Advantages: Good motorsport feel
Disadvantages: Pricey, can get stiff neck, driving at speed

...At first glance there doesn't seem anything special about it, but I have to admit it does look better than the average BMW. That's when I noticed the lower front spoiler, the wider wheel arches that hide the wider axle. Believe, I couldn't go wrong with 20 18 inch rims,...can I ? Then there's that little hump on the bonnet to make sure there's enough room for the bigger engine. At closer inspection I noticed the M3 nostrils on the front fenders...and the emblem on the back on the car that says EMMMM 3 !...but the most distinct characteristic I like lies below the emblem...it's the beautiful 4-pipe organ ( twin exhaust ) which plays the most wonderful sounds known to BMW kind !...no not the church organ...but this one vroom-VROOM !! (get it ?!) Once inside I noticed the usual BMW leather upholstery, a little chrome polish here and there...

E36 M3 - The choice of the trackday hero

Advantages: So easy to drive well
Disadvantages: So easy to drive badly

...Warning -this is a bit of a racers review. But it makes sense on this car.............................. E36 M3. So, why would anyone choose one of these cars? Answer:- a/ You're a bit of a chav-type poser b/ You're a serious trackday-type driver. You decide????????? It's cheap to buy, reasonable to run (Specialists abound) expensive to insure and a serious risk to the owner's NCB! When I first enquired about insuring an M3 to teach on-road advanced driving techniques you could hear the laughter even holding the telephone at arm's length! They are one of the highest "no other vehicle involved" claim vehicle, apparently. With around 300BHP (3 litre or 3.2 in real-world measurements), RWD and lifeless steering it could be a very easy car to introduce the car to the scenery. However, I persevered, found an insurer that liked...

Tannoy Mercury m3 floorstanders

Advantages: Deep bass, weighty sound. Relatively cheap.
Disadvantages: Actually discontinued (seek out newer mx3s), treble and detail can sound a little less exciting compared to other speakers.

...Although these speakers have now been replaced by the newer mx3s (which are similar, but have been tweaked a little over these m3s), they are the speakers I currently own, so I thought I'd review them (since no-one else has and there's not even a Tannoy category! (shame on you, Ciao!)). I bought these speakers just over a year ago, to go with an Arcam Alpha One amp. I listened to some other speakers as well, such as the Q35s from KEF (I think) and the Mission 733e, and also Acoustic Energy AE120SEs, but since the latter are normally £600, we'll leave them out of the discussion. The m3s are nice enough looking floorstanders, with isolation spikes and bass reflex ports. They are a two way design (1 tweeter and 1 mid/bass driver) with single inputs (i.e. not bi-wireable). Basically, I settled on these because of the price (£230...

Review of Tannoy M3

I'll keep my M3 BMW instead, thank you...

Advantages: Sexy looks, close shave
Disadvantages: Very expensive, no better than unpowered version

...because it's Ferrari red.) All of them work on the same principle: three blades, specially positioned for a closer shave; pivotal neck so that the blades are always in the best position regardless of whether you shave with, or against, the grain; lubricating strip that also indicates when it's time to change your blades; a rubberised comfort strip that pulls up your whiskers to make them longer for shaving, thus resulting in an even closer shave. Recently, however, Gillette decided to go one better and launched the M3 Power that the manufacturer boasts is an innovation that produces the best shave ever. Being such a fan of the rest of the Mach 3 range, I really wanted this razor - the trouble was that it is rather too expensive. The unit itself usually costs £9.99, but does include two blades and a AAA Duracell battery. However, that was...

Review of Gillette M3 Power Razor

Your Mission, Should You Accept It - Is To Read This Review!

Advantages: Fast pacy spy adventure, with great music and some equally great stunts.
Disadvantages: Stunts a bit far fetched - but you expect that with this sort of film.

...building and avoid laser beams etc (the scene already mentioned) and this has you watching holding your breath. Ethan is also a master of disguise and perhaps this is the hardest part to find believable - but this is an escapist film in the first place. This is not a serious movie in the same way that the Bourne Identity is; it is make believe and as long as you play along, it is very enjoyable, with a few good one liners and funny scenes along the way. A bit of trivia I found out was that Ethan (Tom Cruise) never actually fires a gun! Now I want to watch Mission Impossible 2 tomorrow! Availability It is available from Amazon for only £3.78, which is a fantastic price. It is rated PG and last for 106 minutes Summary: The best of the series....

M3 POWER RAZOR TAKES YOU THE LIMIT.

Advantages: Its electrical blades give a better shave.
Disadvantages: bit expensive than others.

...a try. As my luck would have it. The day we went shopping and tescos only had the refill cartridges for that model. No Schick razor to be found. I was left with only one choice. The Gillette M3 Power Razor ( A Mach 3 Innovation ). Now at first the idea of a vibrating razor didn't appeal to me. I know - electric razors use a similar technology. But something that vibrates with blades on it. Isn't something I really want to get close to any body parts. But this was my only choice for a razor. It was less than £15 with replacement cartridges. So in the basket it went. And I can honestly say I'm glad that fate pointed me in the direction of this product. Not only did I get one close of a shave. The only shave I've had previous that could compare. Was done with a straight razor at a barber shop. With this new razor I had no nicks, cuts...

Review of Gillette M3 Power Razor

Gillette M3 Power

Advantages: great gimmick that looks impresive
Disadvantages: not as close a shave

...I decided to revert back to wet shave from electric shave. So thought it was a good idea to buy the M3 power. Before using electric shaver regularly used Gillette mach 3 turbo which I had no complaints switched to electric because of good deal on phillishave cool skin razor so thought it was a good idea as I then wouldn’t have cost of replacement blades. After six months I have reverted back to wet as fell it is allot less hassle and time consuming with wet and also closer shave without razor burn as had to repeatedly shave over the same area 3 or 4 times. What a disappointment with M3 power it doesn’t cut as close as mach 3 turbo when power switched on plus also as you are having to go over the area more times to try and get a closer shave personally I find I am pressing harder on skin so getting razor burn. My electric one cuts just...

MISSION IMPROBABLE

Advantages: Good action, Tom Cruise is good
Disadvantages: Weak story and some poor cast

...‘This is not mission difficult, this is mission impossible.’ Not a bad quote from the film, after all this is supposed to be the best of the best in the spying world. Mission Impossible 2 follows on from the original film, with Tom Cruise as the best spy in the world facing the toughest assignments. Just the film does not turn out to be the best of the best in the film world, despite some decent stunts and Cruise in there it just does not cut it among the best. Tom Cruise is Ethan Hunt, top spy for the IMF to bust worldwide terrorism and anything wrong with the world. This time he is out to stop former colleague and spy Sean Ambrose (Dougray Scott) from unleashing a new and deadly killer virus on the world. Their fiendishly brilliant plan this time is to release the virus that unless treated within 20 hours results...

Review of Mission: Impossible 2 (DVD)

On a mission...

Advantages: Cheap very affordable Speaker, with unbelievable amounts of quality.
Disadvantages: Too much bass for some... but not for me...

...for extended periods of use. And above all else when people see these dominant, yet sleek speakers they can't help but say wow. There big, but not too big, but do be sure that your room is big enough for the sound they produce... My top tips for buying using and listening to Mission 702e's:- These speakers are very cheap now, if you shop at the right outlets. I suggest looking in What Hi-Fi for prices, but I have seen them for as little as £79.99!! Choose your amplifier very carefully, as some amps I listened to with these speakers gave some disappointing results. For instance the Technics amp as good as it is in its own right sounded very flat. Listen to the speakers on a low volume for a period of time i.e. - 4 weeks or more. This will help to bed the speaker in, and avoid any unnecessary damage to the driver (Over driving...
