...Straight out of the box, the Mio 168 is a little beauty, a gem of design intergration of a fully functional Windows Pocket PC 2003 (Intel Xscale PXA-255 300 Mhz / 32MB ROM / 64MB SDRAM) with a SiRF compatible GPS reciever!! - very quick GPS start up time. Reusable Nappies- Bambino Mio

Advantages: eco-friendly, economical, no nappy rash
Disadvantages: you need to keep on top of the laundry!

...We have used these nappies for over a year now for our third child after using disposables for the first two. I went for Bambino Mio because a) I felt very strongly that I wanted to be eco-friendly this time b) They had good consumer reviews- and I did a lot of research and c) I lived near a local stockist at the time, making it easy to get supplies and sample packs. Basically, you have an outer nappy shell with velcro fastenings which looks a bit like a disposable. It has a waterproof inner and a cotton outer. You can wipe down the waterproof inner and reuse this part. Then there is a rectangular cotton nappy that is several layers thick. You fold this and wrap a liner around it and place it in the shell. Bambino Mio - Great for 'My Baby'

I believe there are also Frogs, Space and maybe others. You can also buy from Bambino Mio training pants and swim nappies if you wish. *****How Many? It really depends on how often you wish to wash them. I typically washed them every 3 days and had 12 nappies and 4 covers per size and this was adequate. *****How do they perform? They are brilliant!! I only had wet clothes on baby once and that was when I forgot to change him for over 6?!? (honestly he was so happy I just forgot!!). ...When purchasing the Mio P550 I was after a navgation system that could easily be put in my car then arriving at my destination easily fitting in my pocket for security. The Mio P550 is a nice shape and size meaning it does fit nicely in your pocket unlike most brick shaped GPS systems you tend to find. What is even better is its also a PDA, so not just will it tell you where to go, it will be your personal organiser, your mp3 player, your mobile internet. So many great features on one small device! The MioMap software that it comes with isnt the easiest to use at first, some of the features are hard to get to. However it does its job really well once you learn how to use it - please note that when putting in postcodes it just uses the first 4 characters. ...I started using Bambino mio with my first child and now have a baby; both are in Bambino mios'. I originally looked around at great length prior to the birth and found the bambino mio range to be the best. I liked the mio soft cover as it is cotton like on the outside and waterproof on the inside. It also had some nice patterns on it! The cotton prefolds themselves are not different to many on the market; rectangular in shape they fold into multiple layers and with a biodegradable paper liner that flushes down the loo that wraps around to collect solids. The difference is the waterproof covers that go around the prefolds. There are three different covers and I have tried all three, this is been a bit of a road to discovery with my first born. ...I am a grat believer in less is more. I can't see the point in carrying around several different appliances when only one is required. The main problem with this attitude is that although you can get everything you want all in one package, the overall quality of the finished products is generally inferior to the quality of individual units. Take the Mitac Mio. I like PDAs - they combine a media player (to play both MP3's and JPEG video), personal organiser, a gaming machine and several other items all in one. However, the sound quality of a PDA is not up to that of an Ipod. The video quality of a PDA is not up to that of a portable DVD player. Point made? That said, if you are on a train it is awkward to carry an Ipod, portable DVD player, personal organiser etc etc. It is all about compromise and whilst the PDA quality is not...
