...Mitsubishis new Colt has come in leaps and bounds. I myself am a member of the UKs Mitsubishi Colt Owners Club. I speak to many people who own the CZT and this review is a mix of personal experience as well as other people's findings. The 3-door in my opinion is a lot better than the 5-door. The back really sets it off as this is completely redesigned. The only common parts are the front lights and bonnet, it all ends there. As of yet I have seen my own CZ and one other on the roads of the UK. Still new and rare. I will let you know in advance this review does go into depth in certain areas. Bear with it, and I will try and explain certain things, which not everyone will know! The perfect comprimise: Reliability & Design flare

...Being a seventeen year old student with a new licence, I thought that I'd have to buy a peugeot 106 1.1, a corsa, a punto, a saxo or another inconspicuous european hatchback like everybody else. Excellent town car with an endearing personality

Advantages: Cute, value-for-money, frugal. Spacious for tall passengers, reliable.
Disadvantages: Noisy 3 cylinder petrol engine. Small boot. Depreciation. Blind spots

...A huge leap forward from its predecessor in every respect, the 'new' shape Colt is a fine vehicle for those looking to find a Honda Jazz-type car without the associated cost. Probably £2-3000 cheaper than a Jazz at the same age due to its poor depreciation performance, you still get most of the advantages of the Honda (apart from the brilliant CVT). The seating isn't so clever but you can still remove the rear seats for a useful load bay. Otherwise the boot is tiny, though it has a small underfloor 'secret' cubby hole and an electric socket to make up. I personally prefer the Colt's looks to the Jazz, it appears wider and more purposeful, with a modern shape that won't age too quickly (hopefully). Its proportions are elegant to my eye but it has to be said that the A-pillar obscures vision quite severely, something to be aware...

WHY TO BUY A MITSUBISHI FTO GPX MIVEC

Advantages: Looks, Sound, Power, Driver/Passenger comfort,
Disadvantages: Some parts can be pricey, weak link rods on front suspension

Get the car up to 3500rpm and the engine changes in to the mivec mode, switch to manual shift and the fun begins, this is where the engine develops the recognisable growl that you may hear on occassions, drop a gear and hit the pedal and a surge runs through the engine developing into a very quick take off...boy racers in their maxed Corsa's/ Puntos cant cope and neither can a lot of other similar coupes... (remember car of the year in Japan and used for racing aswell with very few mods) The gear box in this model is semi - automatic with mitsubishi technology called INVECS, basically what it means is that when driving the car in manual the car will "remember" when you change gear at a certain RPM and then apply this to the gear change when it is driven in automatic. Mitsubishi Space Star 1.6 Equippe 5dr

Advantages: All of the ones listed, price, robust, economical, spacious and more
Disadvantages: a little bodyroll due to hight and shape, also a fairly hard suspension.

...I am the proud owner of a Mitsubishi Space Star Equippe 5dr, the car reg is of 2003 I have had it since that year and so far all that it has required maintenance was a couple of tires that I got punctures on, people that ride in it advised me that the car is very quiet, however it does have some noise when on the motorway when is going very fast, this is due to it's shape as is a tall car and therefore has more wind resistance. Overall is a nice car as is small enough for town yet big enough for longer trip and consumption is low. I do have a small complaint it does have a little body roll when doing tight turns, which means it leans quite a bit when doing these tight turns, but understandably so due to it's height. If your looking for something pretty special, which really in money terms isnt a lot compared to performance of cars in this category, its good value for money.... For the initial outlay for the car anyway. The FQ330 option, is named this due to the performance of the car. 330bhp. There was also 2 other options, the FQ300 ( with 300bhp ) and later on the Mitsubish Lancer Evolution 8 MR FQ400 ( 400bhp!)
