Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VIII - FQ 330

Advantages: Rapidly quick, headturner, smart design
Disadvantages: Running costs, fuel economy, insurance !! GROUP 20 !

...The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 8 - FQ330.......... If your looking for something pretty special, which really in money terms isnt a lot compared to performance of cars in this category, its good value for money.... For the initial outlay for the car anyway. The FQ330 option, is named this due to the performance of the car. 330bhp. There was also 2 other options, the FQ300 ( with 300bhp ) and later on the Mitsubish Lancer Evolution 8 MR FQ400 ( 400bhp!) The FQ330 is extremely quick, the turbo kicks in at approx 3.5k revs. Similar performace car would be a Subaru WRX STi ( which is also actually more expensive than the Evo ) However there seem to be a lot of Subarus, or should I say, 'Scooby Doo's' out on the road these days, so the Evo is an alternative to be that little bit different. You wont see swarms of them on a normal...

The Power of the Red Badge

Advantages: The Supreme handling and the Superb force and speed
Disadvantages: Very high costs involved while driving this car

...My mate was drunk, and I took the car. Well actually I drove him home, but I can say that Exciting, Real and Aggressive are 3 ways to describe this car after only driving this wonder for about 30mins. My brother's mate who's 26, has just brought a Mitsubishi Evolution Lancer. Its a lovely deep blue, its not like most though. Basically its not standard. Me and my mate went to his girlfriends 21st birthday. He got slashed and he was meant to stay at my brothers flat. My brother Dave already left. His girlfriend asked me to drive them to Dave's flat and they'd pay for me to get a taxi home. I was expecting to be driving him home in a small Nissan Micra, but instead the walked me to this beauty, a wonder. So I took the keys off her, and I thanked her for not being able to drive yet. As soon as I pulled away from the car park, I...

Can you see me, no i've gone just too fast.

Advantages: FAST very fast, thrilling, not overly priced compared to other sporty cars capable of such speeds, beautiful.
Disadvantages: insurance is just wrong !!!

...only when you put your foot down that you realise the need for the massive spoilers and sills and valances. As for handling there is one word to sum it up, UNRIVALED, only until you actually drive this car can you comprehend the way it literally glues itself to the road come sun, rain or snow, when going round a bend the active yaw stability controll lets you know your safe as it sets the cars weight up perfectly to give more grip. The car is built with safety in mind with driver and passenger airbags as standard, a truly unbeleivable ammount of stopping power from the brakes, side impact protection, front and rear impact protection, obviously no car is invincible but mitsubishi are difinately having a good go at it. Aside from accelleration of 0 - 62mph in 4.4 seconds (it needs clearence from air traffic controll to set off...

Not only for rallies!!!

Advantages: Great fun car
Disadvantages: expensive

...I love rallying!!!Rally regulations are wonderful things. The need for car makers wishing to compete at World Championship level to build a limited number of identical road cars has given us a mouthwatering selection of machinery in the last 30 years. The Mini Cooper owed its beginnings to World Rallying. So did the Lancia Stratos, the Audi Quattro Sport, the Peugeot 205 T16 and countless others. Sadly, current WRC cars don't need to be in production before they can compete - or at least, the fastest Group A machines that Colin McRae, Carlos Sainz and his friends drive don't. Fortunately, however, the same rallies also include a 'showroom' category known as Group N for which limited numbers of road cars do need to be built. Here, one manufacturer dominates with one car: Mitsubishi and the Lancer Evolution. Various incarnations...

WHY TO BUY A MITSUBISHI FTO GPX MIVEC

Advantages: Looks, Sound, Power, Driver/Passenger comfort,
Disadvantages: Some parts can be pricey, weak link rods on front suspension

...-roads are fun especially when in manual mode. Get the car up to 3500rpm and the engine changes in to the mivec mode, switch to manual shift and the fun begins, this is where the engine develops the recognisable growl that you may hear on occassions, drop a gear and hit the pedal and a surge runs through the engine developing into a very quick take off...boy racers in their maxed Corsa's/ Puntos cant cope and neither can a lot of other similar coupes... (remember car of the year in Japan and used for racing aswell with very few mods) The gear box in this model is semi - automatic with mitsubishi technology called INVECS, basically what it means is that when driving the car in manual the car will "remember" when you change gear at a certain RPM and then apply this to the gear change when it is driven in automatic. So, the car will drive in auto...

Mitsubishi Diamond Pro (2070 SB)

Advantages: Excellent display, Highly reliable
Disadvantages: It goes back a fair way and it's no Flat-bed!

...that this monitor is among the cream of the top in it's range, there are perfectly decent monitors available for under half the price which do the job very well, Mitsubishi / NEC are just one of the reliable manufacturers. Before considering splashing out on this product it is essential one thinks about whether they are buying it for the right reasons, the resolution of the 2070SB will continue to please gamers and will provide an excellent screen for home use too, but it is a lot of money, and, as stated, there are decent £200 to £300 monitors out there....

Think twice before buying a Mitsubishi Shogun!

Advantages: Great looks, safety, great for countryside, ?space?
Disadvantages: NON-economic, expensive, depreciates quickly

...thought, I'm practically in the middle of nowhere, I need a 4 wheel drive, that would make me popular with the posh neighbors, wouldn't it? So you do it, doing a bit of light background research, after all, your just trying to enjoy the Summer Sunshine, but you need to find you dream car along the way. I decided on getting a superb Mitsubishi Shogun, wonderful car, I read, great to drive I heard. So I started to scavenge around the local Private Dealers, after all, I've got a bit of cash, and for that touch of perfection, I'd rather have perfection in life rather than a hell life of rusting nuts, so I got out, on my mystery search, to find "this" car. Luckily, just a short walk away from my house, I find a dealer, who's got 1 Mitsubishi Shogun in stock, and its good value he says! "Oh yes, I love the car, my favorite you see, I can't be...

Mitsubishi Space Star 1.6 Equippe 5dr

Advantages: All of the ones listed, price, robust, economical, spacious and more
Disadvantages: a little bodyroll due to hight and shape, also a fairly hard suspension.

...I am the proud owner of a Mitsubishi Space Star Equippe 5dr, the car reg is of 2003 I have had it since that year and so far all that it has required maintenance was a couple of tires that I got punctures on, people that ride in it advised me that the car is very quiet, however it does have some noise when on the motorway when is going very fast, this is due to it's shape as is a tall car and therefore has more wind resistance. Overall is a nice car as is small enough for town yet big enough for longer trip and consumption is low. I do have a small complaint it does have a little body roll when doing tight turns, which means it leans quite a bit when doing these tight turns, but understandably so due to it's height. Having said that it is very versatile as the back sits fold completely flat turning it into a spacious van like car I...

Disadvantages: Text Print very small

...Mitsubishi Trium Geo on BT Cellnet Pay As You Talk. Cost: £29.95 Order online from http://www.bt.com/mobilestore This little beauty comes complete with everything you need in a budget-priced WAP Mobile. For under £30 it comes with Leather Cover, Car Charger, Headset, Plus Mains Charger, SIM Card, with £5 included to get you started, plus an additional £2.50 upon registration to BT Cellnet. Connection speed to the net is fairly easy, handy for sending and checking your emails while on the move. It also has a silent Vibration mode, which is handy in noisey environments where you wouldn't hear a normal mobile. I compaired this phone to Erisson A1018, found it faster on voice connections, but a little hard to read in the text messaging editor. That appears this phones only fault. both my wife and I have one each...
