HP 2133 Mini- note
Advantages: Light, thin, durable, fast, looks cool
Disadvantages: none.
...Bought this notebook a while back and have to say am very satisfied with it. Unlike many notebooks, it has all the features of a desktop computer and I am seriously considering getting rid of my normal PC after buying this.
Speed
For a notebook, not bad, the boot-up time is faster than my main pc and there is never really a moment when you want to throw it out the window because it's taking so long (as I have had with some computers).
4/5
Look and feel
It looks pretty cool and I am not concerned with, and even proud of, using this in public. It is also quite comfortable to use, being very light and thin.
5/5
Memory / capacity
I have not had any problem with the memory yet and I save one hell of alot of stuff. I seriously doubt you will fill this. The model I bought, the KX872AA, has 1024MB DDR RAM...

***JVC MINI NOTE-UPDATED***
Advantages: Fantastic for out and about use
Disadvantages: PRICE!!!
...For all you computer users who need a pc that is great for out and about use, and need a pc that is small. This is the mother of all small pc's.
I looked through the magazines that i order my PC's from for myself and my shop. I came acroos this little thing and was amazed how much technology the could fit insuch a little space. (34x225x175mm)
*General*
The processor is at a reasonable speed for getting things done quickly at the expence of battery life (3.5 hours). Ram memory is @ 256mb which is good for those demanding programs but dosnt really fit with the 1GHz Pentium M processor. Hard Disk is @ 40GB not sure of the RPM. The Disk Drive is a DVD/CD-RW which means that you can read DVD format CD's. You cannot write a DVD-R or RW only CD-R and CD-RW.

The Mini Notebook
Advantages: Compact, Larger than expected screen resolution, Stylish, Light, has USB2.0 capability
Disadvantages: Sluggish graphics, no internal CD drive.
...As you'd expect, this is a laptop computer, that's been scaled down to a size that's little larger than an A5 sheet of paper.
I've tried a number of mini-notebooks, and this is one of the better designs out there. JVC actually do a pretty good job of getting the design right, it's a functional machine, while still being light enough to hold in one hand, and type on it using the other.
When the device is opened out, we've got an 8.9" screen, which looks best running at its native resolution of 1024 by 800 pixels (the picture seems to look a lot worse running at a resolution other than this). Needless to say, the picture is clear and sharp, with excellent definition, as I'd expect from a laptop from this end of the market.
Technically speaking, this machine is definately not on the cutting edge of technology, therefore it's not...

Mini Effet 3D Mobile : Cute and Useful
Advantages: Compact, takes up less room in handbag when out
Disadvantages: Used up quickly
...I saw this little lipgloss while browsing the Bourjois display in Superdrug. It's designed to attach to your mobile as a charm, which is perfect for nights out as well as if you need to reduce the size of your makeup kit for travelling.
It's basically just smaller version of the Bourjois Effet 3D lipgloss, measuring 6cm in length and just over 1cm wide, and can be attached to your mobile phone so you are never without a lipgloss touch-up.
I think the price was around £3, which for 1.7ml or 0.5 Floz I suppose is a touch expensive but it will last for few nights out so overall it's pretty good value for money.
The gloss itself is sparkly and light and is applied easily with the mini brush that is attached to the screw top. It lasts for an average amount of time so you might need a touch up after a couple of hours.
I liked...

Mini 10
Advantages: Quite a lot
Disadvantages: Hard to adjust to
...I have just been bought the dell mini 10 which is a compact web book.
Now, until now I did not know a great deal to do with web books so my first thought was that it was cute and I was genuinely excited to get using it, however I noted that this product has not been reviewed so I did some research and had a look through some of what this dell has to offer and though I would offer a review on the item.
Design
Firstly I want to comment on the design of this dinky thing, the lid of mine is piano black and glossy which obviously is one of those things which you think, should I take the film off? I have left my film on as I am prone to eating whilst browsing and therefore I do not want my mini 10 to be covered in my prints within the first uses!
Whilst browsing this computer, I noted that it came in other colours, green, pink...

Notes on a Scandal
Advantages: Excellent performances, interesting story
Disadvantages: None really
...Notes on a Scandal is the story of Barbara Covett, a lonely and elderly teacher at an underperforming school. It begins with the introduction of a new teacher, young and pretty Sheba Hart. The two become friends, until Barbara discovers that Sheba is having an affair with a 15 year old student, at which point her view of the friendship intensifies significantly. Barbara becomes extremely posessive and falls in love with Sheba, who tries hard to please her and be a good friend but makes it clear she is feeling quite disturbed by Barbara's actions. When angry with Sheba, Barbara clues another teacher in about Sheba's past with the student, who informs the public. Sheba has no choice but to leave her husband and her family and temporarily move in with Barbara, where she discovers her diary and finds out her true feelings about her...

Mobile Computing in Mini form
Advantages: Mini with many features
Disadvantages: poor floating point
...for a house (very good for DVD playback and has six channel audio) or a downloading machine you needed to leave on 24 hours a day. If you had a large computer case for any other computer you could probably fit it inside and have two PCs in one.
All in all this a great little device, while it lacks the power of its Intel of AMD cousins if you use it for something its suited to it will excel at it. At £151.58 (as of 25/03/06) from mini-itx.com for the motherboard and processor (including onboard graphics, sound and LAN) you effectively get a fully featured PC for less than £200 when you include the RAM. I would recommend this motherboard/CPU set to anyone who was good a tinkering with computers or anyone who had a weird plan involving a computer.

Take a note of this!
Advantages: Roomy, smooth to drive, fuel consumption, reliable
Disadvantages: Looks
...This is a review of the Nissan Note 1.4 with manual transmission & not the 1.6 auto as listed.
My first acquaintance with the Nissan Note was on a rental car hire parking lot last week, it was my transport for three days. If we all purchased a car for looks alone I doubt if anyone would even consider this car. I know looks are a subjective matter but no matter which angle I looked at this vehicle is was just????.well, ugly.
With its long wheelbase & box shape & those striking ?bug eye? headlamps it was never going to win a beauty contest.
And then there is the name, how many well paid advisors / marketing people came up with the name. Note? Did they pick the names out of a hat? Honestly, I would have thought a company the size of Nissan could have come up with something a little more enticing.
However, this is a car...

An excellent PDA/Mobile Phone
Advantages: Everything about the phones features
Disadvantages: Costly if you dont have a contract. Only avaliable from o2
....
The box was well designed with two draws that simultaneously opened when you pulled out one and inside was lots of other compartments for the battery, the phone, a rather thick instruction manual, a hands free kit and a leather case for the phone.
I plugged the charger in and turned it on. After about 5 minutes the phone was on! It takes that long to boot up as it's actually a mini computer running Windows mobile 5.0, the latest software.
The screen is massive and the clarity is excellent, better than my PC monitor! One the menu had loaded up, I didn't know what to look at first. The phone has all the features you can imagine and more.
First off, Navigation. This is done in a variety of ways. Either using the buttons in-between the red and green phone buttons at the end of the phone or by touch screen with your finger or the stylus...
